Abstract

This study aims to enhance the understanding of religious values and self-confidence among elderly women at Panti Werdha Mental Kasih Lamongan through a day care program. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: 1) the implementation of the day care program through religious values involves activities that encompass elements of faith, worship, and morality, while self-confidence includes aspects of behavior, emotion, and spirituality. 2) The effectiveness of enhancing the understanding of religious values and self-confidence among elderly women through the day care program, based on interviews and field observations conducted continuously and sustainably every day, was concluded to show a 75% improvement. 3) The impact of improving the understanding of religious values includes being faithful, devout, moral, optimistic, and humble. In contrast, the character impact of self-confidence among elderly women includes being more self-assured, courageous in expressing themselves, learning new skills, and being independent. The day care program at Panti Werdha Mental Kasih Lamongan offers various activities such as public religious studies, regular elderly discussions, counseling activities, group exercises, elderly community service, creative life skills, art performances, and elderly health posts (posyandu lansia). This study contributes to providing solutions to improve the quality of life for the elderly.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in instilling the values of Ukhuwah Islamiyah through thematic tafsir learning of the QS. Al-Hujurat verses 10-13 at MAN 1 Lamongan. These values must be instilled early on, especially amid social divisions, conflicts, and weak student solidarity. Islamic religious education, especially tafsir, is a strategic medium for contextual value formation. This qualitative case study used observation, interviews, and documentation for data collection. The results of this study: First, the PAI teacher acts as a demonstrator, facilitator, class manager, and evaluator. Second is the Cultivation of Ukhuwah Islamiyah Values in Thematic Tafsir Learning QS. Al-Hujurat Verse 10-13 at MAN 1 Lamongan includes the realization of brotherhood between others, peace in the school environment, the formation of tolerant characters, and knowing and understanding each other. Third, challenges arise, such as limited learning time, limited student knowledge about the concept of ukhuwah Islamiyah, the negative influence of social media, and different student backgrounds. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the practical strategies that can be applied in PAI learning to form an attitude of tolerance and solidarity.

Abstract

The strategy of using video media is very powerful in today's technological era. However, the current problem is the lack of skills and abilities in producing and developing videos into an interesting media. Thus, the availability of adequate basic knowledge and skills in editing and videography is very important, especially in efforts to advance promotion in the field of tourism. This research was conducted with a qualitative approach using data collection techniques: interviews, observations, documentation, and questionnaires. With this method, it is expected to obtain concrete data that is in accordance with the needs of the research carried out in Labuhan Brondong Lamongan village. After the data was collected, it was then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results of community service show that this activity has a positive impact on residents, managers, government, and the wider community. This activity is also able to empower the community in developing the promotion of Kutang Beach Tourism in Labuhan Brondong Lamongan Village.
