Abstract

Education is one of important element in a life. Because through education someone can develop knowledge, insight, values and character even as an effort of cultural inheritance. Therefore it is necessary cooperation from all lines of education as an effort to achieve learning objectives that not only supply knowledge, but also the character and love of diversity. One of them is by integrating local wisdom in learning. But in reality many teachers who have not integrated local wisdom in learning so that the goal of education has not been achieved other than that not yet know the local wisdom in the environment. Based on these problems, conducted a conceptual study about learning based on local wisdom. This conceptual study will discusse about how  the importance of integrating local wisdom in learning as an effort to create learning that not only supply students of knowledge but also instills a sense of love for local diversity in their environment, the impact from implementation learning based on local wisdom. And how the teacher steps in integrating the local wisdom. Through this study is expected useful for the teachers to participate in designing and implementing learning based on local wisdom in primary schools.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the management of Discovery Learning onalternative energy materials to improve the high-level thinking skills of fourth gradestudents at SD Negeri Bintoro 5 Demak.The research method used is descriptive qualitative method. This research was conducted at SD Bintoro 5 Demak. This study used purposive sampling technique, the sample in this study was selected for class IV SD Bintoro 5 Demak. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used quantitative descriptive analysis.The result of the research is that the management of Discovery Learning which consists of planning and implementation has been carried out according to the syntax, while the evaluation is done with tests. Furthermore, the results of children's higher-order thinking skills after participating in learning are very high. The percentage results on analytical skills are 84% in the very good category, the level of student understanding is 87% in the very good category, the problem solving ability is 72% in the good category, the ability to conclude is 86% in the very good category, and the ability to evaluate the findings by 75% with good category. The conclusion of this study is that learning management with the Discovery Learning model can improve students' higher order thinking skills.

Abstract

This study examines the importance of integrating local wisdom into learning and explores innovative strategies that teachers can use to develop students with strong character and essential 21st-century skills. Using a qualitative method with a case study approach, the research was conducted in primary schools in Pati and Demak Regencies, including SDN Bintoro 5, SD Plus Latansa, SDN 5 Gembong, and SDN 2 Cluwak. Data was collected through interviews, documentation, and observations, then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. The results show that 75% of teachers responded positively to the integration of local wisdom, which enhances the relevance, engagement, and meaning of learning materials, while also boosting student motivation and essential skills. Teachers can promote this approach by analyzing learning difficulties, identifying local strengths, and designing lessons with appropriate methods and models. Recommended learning models include problem-based learning, STEAM based on Project-Based Learning, and Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL), all of which have been shown to improve educational outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum on improving students' non-academic achievement at SD Plus Latansa Demak. The Merdeka Curriculum is the result of adaptation to learning needs in the digital era, by giving students the freedom to develop their potential outside of academics. In this study, the author uses a qualitative approach to explore how the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum can improve students' non-academic achievement through organized and interest- and talent-based activities. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of Merdeka Curriculum has great potential in optimizing students' non-academic achievements, with support from more flexible curriculum management, technology-based learning, and intensive assistance to teachers.With the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum, students can be freer to explore their interests and talents outside the classroom, which can help them develop their previously untapped potential. Through organized and interest- and talent-based activities, students can feel more motivated and excited about learning, so that their non-academic achievements can also improve significantly.
