Abstract

Sharia Pawn (Ar-Rahn) is an agreement between a lender and a party who lends money. A lien is a right to tangible goods that is given to a debtor who wants to get ahead of the debtor, and the item is taken after the person has the money to redeem the lien. Rahn is a pawn service product based on sharia principles, where customers are only charged with administrative fees, additional mortgage and maintenance costs. The purpose of this study was to determine the evolution of income, inflation rates and gold prices in Rahn's credit distribution at PT. Pawn shops in Indonesia. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis with a quantitative approach used as a data analysis method. The data source comes from secondary data Literature research and documentation are used as data collection techniques. The subject to be studied is PT. Pegadaiic Indonesia 2013- 2022. The results show that gold income and prices are directly proportional to rahn credit distributed to the community. Meanwhile, inflation is not directly proportional to the rahn credit distributed to the public.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, interactions between countries have become increasingly complex and interrelated, playing a crucial role in shaping national economic dynamics. In the context of political economy, globalization has had a significant impact on economic structures, trade policies, and the distribution of wealth at the national level. This article illustrates how globalization, through a political economy lens, influences a country's economic resilience and raises critical questions regarding distributive justice and economic inequality. This analysis also investigates the role of the government in shaping national economic policy, as well as the challenges faced by the Indonesian state in responding to the dynamics of globalization. By understanding the complex interactions between economic and political factors, this article aims to provide deeper insight into the impact of globalization on national economies.

Abstract

                        In 2016–2022, this study examines how population growth rate, population density, and sex ratio affect poverty levels in five islands in Sumatra simultaneously and partially. where population density, sex ratio, and population growth rate act as independent variables while poverty functions as the dependent variable. Time series data is used in this study, and panel data analysis conducted with eViews is used to apply quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) is the source of information. The findings of this study indicate that: 1) Population growth rate has a significant and positive impact on poverty. 2) Poverty is significantly and negatively affected by population density. 3) The relationship between sex ratio and poverty is quite positive. Keywords: poverty, sex ratio, population density, and population growth rate.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat variabelvariabel yang mungkin mempengaruhi tingkat kemiskinan di Indonesia. Indeks Pembangunan Manusia (IPM) tahun 2004–2023 serta tingkat pengangguran dan pencapaian  pendidikan merupakan variabel independen yang diteliti. Pendekatan Error Correction Model (ECM) digunakan dalam analisis data untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan data time series yang tidak stasioner. ECM. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: a) kemiskinan di Indonesia dipengaruhi secara positif secara signifikan dan parsial oleh variabel Tpt. b) Terdapat pengaruh negatif yang signifikan dan parsial dari variabel pendidikan terhadap kemiskinan di Indonesia. c) Tidak ada dampak parsial variabel IPM terhadap kemiskinan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Business ethics can be defined as knowledge about the ideal procedures for regulating and managing a business that takes into account norms and morality that apply universally and economically/socially, and the application of these norms and morality supports the aims and objectives of business activities. Determining profits based on business ethics is not always easy, so companies must pay attention to the fact that implementing business ethics is very important, because this can provide long-term benefits for the company and society as a whole. This research aims to find out how to determine profits based on business ethics in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a descriptive research method using a qualitative approach. The research results show that good business activities strive to achieve profits by paying attention to corporate social responsibility (CSR) and the application of business ethics in determining profits involves a balance between achieving financial goals and paying attention to social, environmental and moral impacts.
