Abstract

In the course Askeb I (Pregnancy) Academic Year 2013/2014 , in which 112 students on subjects Askeb I which has a value of A and B is at least 35 people (31.25%) . This illustrates clearly that 68.75% of the students in the course Askeb I have a level of understanding that is only limited by graduation . The researchers used an alternative model of learning that can improve student learning activities in the course Askeb I (pregnancy) through a cooperative learning model CIRC aimed at improving student learning activeness in Prodi DIII Midwifery STIKes Minang Padang 2015 .This research is a classroom action research (classroom action research) undertaken by researchers directly , which is done by 3 cycles . Each cycle consists of four activities namely : planning, action , observation , and reflection . Samples were students Prodi DIII Midwifery STIKes Minang Padang in 2015 the number of students 11 people . An instruments using documentation , questionnaire , and observation .Based on the results of learning activities of students in the first cycle (56.36%) medium category , in the second cycle (65.45%) medium category , and the third cycle (89.08%) higher category . It can be concluded that the use of cooperative learning model CIRC can improve student learning activities .The researchers suggest to lecturers to use cooperative learning model CIRC one alternative for further learning in other subjects such as Askeb III , Askeb V , Documentation Obstetrics , and Reproductive Health , to improve the learning activities of students and can be submitted as reference and consideration of reference for subsequent studies

Abstract

Stunting is the cronic malnutrition that was considered to still be a severe problem in Indonesia because the prevalence rate is still above 20%. Stunting prevention can be done by providing nutrition, health services, and using local food, such as dadih, for pregnant women. This service aims to increase capasity of mothers' knowledge about pregnancy through nutritional education and the application of processed dadih products in the form of functional dadih bread to pregnant women to prevent stunting in The Limapuluh Kota districts. The lecture method was used in n this activity provide free supplemental food to pregnant women in Lima Puluh Kota Regency. carried out on July 31 2023, by providing nutritional education and the application of dadiah functional bread to pregnant women. Other activities included in this service are ultrasound examinations and nutritional status for pregnant women. Acceptance of pregnant women's consultation every day for 1 month. The weight of pregnant women was measured before and after giving curd functional bread. The results of this activity showed that the acceptability of functional curd bread was good proven by the remaining products provided, only 25% of all products consisting of bread and curd vla. The conclusion of this community service is an effect of giving functional curd bread on weight gain of pregnant women.

Abstract

Ruangan Intensive Care Unit merupakan unit perawatan intensif dan diidentifikasi sebagai target mutu pelayanan dan keselamatan pasien dirumah sakit. Pasien ICU didominasi menggunakan ventilator mekanik yang berdampak kejadian Ventilator Associated Pneumonia (VAP). Pencegahan infeksi nosokomial menjadi landasan salah satunya penerapan bundels VAP dalam perawatan untuk pencegahan VAP. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui faktor determinan kejadian VAP pada pasien yang terpasang ventilator mekanik. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Sampel penelitian semua subjek menggunaan ventilator mekanik di ICU yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi 54 orang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner tervalidasi setelah dilakukan uji validitas dan uji reliabilitas menggunakan Cronbach’s Alpha (r = 0,694). Analisa data bivariat menggunakan uji Chi-Square dan analisa multivariat menggunakan uji Regresi Logistik Berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan faktor paling dominan yang mempengaruhi kejadian VAP dengan pasien terpasang ventilator yaitu Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) p < 0,05 OR= 2,596 95%CI (1,021-6,601) yang artinya GCS memberikan pengaruh sebesar 25,96 kali terhadap kejadian VAP dan penyakit gagal ginjal p < 0,05, OR= 1,182 95%CI (1,070-5,560) yang artinya penyakit gagal ginjal memberikan pengaruh sebesar 11,82 kali terhadap kejadian VAP. Simpulan penelitian menunjukkan penyakit komorbid seperti gagal ginjal adalah salah satu faktor determinan terjadinya VAP. Berdasarkan tindakan yang telah dilakukan oleh perawat di ruangan ICU dalam penatalaksanaan pencegahan VAP sudah dilaksanakan sesuai dengan skor GCS dan bundles VAP.

Abstract

Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis yang masih menjadi tantangan kesehatan masyarakat di Indonesia, dengan prevalensi nasional sebesar 21,6% berdasarkan Survei Status Gizi Indonesia (SSGI) 2022. Kondisi ini berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik, perkembangan kognitif, serta produktivitas anak pada masa dewasa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan, sikap, dan praktik gizi ibu hamil serta orang tua balita melalui edukasi gizi dan demonstrasi pembuatan MPASI berbahan pangan lokal. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif, meliputi pendampingan edukasi gizi, pelatihan pembuatan MPASI lokal, serta evaluasi sebelum dan sesudah kegiatan terhadap 45 ibu hamil dan 52 balita di Kota Padang. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan yang jelas pada pemahaman peserta terhadap gizi seimbang, di mana mayoritas mulai menerapkan menu MPASI berbahan lokal yang lebih variatif dan bergizi. Perbaikan juga tampak pada praktik pemberian MPASI dan pola konsumsi rumah tangga. Pada balita, terjadi pergeseran status gizi ke arah lebih baik, ditandai meningkatnya proporsi gizi normal setelah intervensi. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif berupa meningkatnya literasi gizi keluarga, penguatan pemanfaatan pangan lokal, serta kontribusi terhadap pencegahan stunting melalui edukasi yang aplikatif dan berkelanjutan.
