Pupose: The purpose of this study is to investigate how travelers' interest in selecting star-rated hotels is influenced by cleanliness, health, safety, and environmental sustainability (CHSE) in Gili Trawangan after the COVID-19 pandemic. Method: Associative research using a quantitative technique is the research design used. A survey using primary data sources that provide quantitative information on the number of domestic and foreign visitors to Gili Trawangan is the approach used to acquire the data. The study's population consists of all visitors to Gili Trawangan, both domestic and foreign. We use 90 samples for this study. Result: The findings of the data analysis show that the variables related to cleanliness, health, safety, and environmental sustainability all have a positive and significant impact on interest in making a purchase. The variables related to cleanliness, on the other hand, do not significantly affect interest in making a purchase.

Abstract

Palm sugar (Arenga pinnata Merr.) is a traditional sweetener that has been produced by Indonesian people for a long time and plays an important role in the rural economy. However, the quality of liquid palm sugar is greatly influenced by the easily fermented nature of the sap and the uneven production practices. This community service activity aims to improve the quality and safety of liquid palm sugar through training on Good Manufacturing Practices equipment at the Giri Madia Forest Farmers Group (KTH). The training was held on August 21, 2025, in Giri Madia Village, Lingsar District, West Lombok, with 20 participants. The method included interactive lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on practice focusing on the prerequisites for CPPOB and controlling the liquid palm sugar process using affordable equipment (food-grade containers, stainless steel sieves, thermometers, pH meters, and refractometers for °Brix control). The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of identifying critical control points and implementing proper sanitation procedures. It is hoped that consistent implementation of CPPOB will not only guarantee product quality and safety, but also strengthen the competitiveness of liquid palm sugar in the wider market, while encouraging the strengthening of the local potential-based economy.

Abstract

The increase in frozen food consumption along with modern lifestyles emphasizes the need to understand the factors influencing purchasing decisions. This study aims to analyze the influence of nutritional labels and health awareness on purchasing decisions for frozen food products among the people of Mataram City. Using a quantitative associative-causal approach, data were collected through an online questionnaire from 100 purposive sampling respondents with multiple linear regression analysis in SPSS 27. The results showed that nutritional labels (t=2.316, p=0.023) and health awareness (t=7.664, p=0.000) had a significant effect both partially and simultaneously (F=49.856, p=0.000), explaining 50.7% of the variation (R²=0.507). The conclusion states that clear nutritional information and high health awareness encourage selective purchasing among young female students, so manufacturers are advised to improve label quality and the government to promote nutritional literacy for healthier consumption.
