Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini, penulis mengambil judul “Penerapan fungsi konsumsi dan fungsi tabungan pada teori matematika bisnis dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu konsep ekonomi relevan dalam konteks pengelolaan keuangan pribadi adalah fungsi konsumsi dan tabungan. Kegiatan mengkonsumsi barang dan jasa dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti, pendapatan, gaya hidup, dan harga. Penerapan fungsi konsumsi dan fungsi tabungan mempengaruhi kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan fungsi konsumsi dan fungsi tabungan dalam konteks kehidupan sehari-hari dan mengkaji implikasi teoritis serta praktisnya terhadap pengambilan keputusan finansial. Dengan memanfaatkan kerangka teori matematika bisnis, kami melakukan analisis terhadap perilaku konsumen dan pola tabungan dalam berbagai situasi kehidupan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan antara tingkat pendapatan dan tingkat tabungan, seiring dengan perubahan pola konsumsi. Selain itu, kami menemukan bahwa pemahaman mendalam tentang fungsi konsumsi dan fungsi tabungan membantu individu dalam merencanakan dan mengelola keuangan mereka lebih efektif. Dari sudut pandang teoritis, temuan ini memberikan kontribusi pemahaman kita tentang bagaimana teori matematika bisnis dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Secara praktis, penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya literasi finansial dan pengelolaan keuangan yang bijaksana untuk mencapai tujuan keuangan jangka panjang. Implikasi ini diuraikan dalam diskusi, bersama dengan saran-saran untuk pengembangan lebih lanjut. Penelitian ini memberikan wawasan berharga bagi praktisi keuangan, pembuat kebijakan, dan individu untuk memahami peran penting fungsi konsumsi dan fungsi tabungan dalam mencapai stabilitas finansial dan keberlanjutan ekonomi jangka panjang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif deskripsi dengan studi kasus sebagai metode utama. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi terhadap individu yang aktif mengelola keuangan pribadi mereka. In this research, the author took the title "Application of the consumption function and savings function in the mathematical theory of business in everyday life. One ofthe relevant economic concepts in the context of personal financial management is the consumption and savings function. The activity of consuming goods and services is influenced by several factors such as income, lifestyle and price. The application of the consumption function and savings function affects daily life. This research aims to explore the application of the consumption function and savings function in the context of everyday life and examine their theoretical and practical implications for financial decision making. By utilizing a business `mathematical theoretical framework, we analyze consumer behavior and savings patterns in various life situations. The research results show that there is a significant relationship between income levels and savings levels, along with changes in consumption patterns. Additionally, we found that a deep understanding of the consumption function and savings function helps individuals plan and manage their finances more effectively. From a theoretical point of view, these findings contribute to our understanding of how business mathematics theories can be applied in everyday life. Practically, this research highlights the importance of financial literacy and wise financial management to achieve long-term financial goals. These implications are outlined in the discussion, along with suggestions for further development. This research provides valuable insights for financial practitioners, policy makers, and individuals to understand the important role of the consumption function and savings function in achieving financial stability and long-term economic sustainability. This research uses a quantitative descriptive approach with case studies as the main method. Data was collected through interviews and observations of individuals who actively manage their personal finances.

Abstract

This community service program was motivated by the low effectiveness of conventional environmental education methods, as well as the limited English literacy and digital technology utilization among members of the Forum Anak Kelurahan Sriwedari. The children were not yet accustomed to using English in thematic contexts such as environmental issues, even though this ability is essential for broadening their global awareness. The purpose of this program was to develop an innovative learning medium in the form of an English-language digital comic with an environmental theme, designed to enhance both English proficiency and ecological literacy among children. The program employed a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, emphasizing active participant involvement throughout all stages—from planning to evaluation. The results showed a significant improvement in environmental vocabulary mastery (from 58 to 84), the ability to construct simple sentences (from 60 to 82), and the confidence to use English in communicative contexts (from 55 to 83). The children also demonstrated higher learning motivation and greater awareness of environmentally friendly behavior. In conclusion, the introduction of English-language digital comics proved effective as a creative learning medium that integrates English language acquisition with Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), fostering the development of globally minded and ecologically conscious young learners.
