Abstract

Given how quickly technology is developing, 21st-century learning must connect with it and focus on giving students the skills they need to succeed in the twenty-first century. This research aims to design e-modules integrated with game-based problem-based learning to improve 21st-century skills. The research method uses the ADDIE development model, which is limited to the development stage. The validation test was conducted on four expert validators consisting of 2 researchers and two practitioners. The findings indicated that the e-module received an 83% score for its content/material component, an 84% score for its systematic component, an 83% score for its language component, and an 84% score for its visual component. With an average percentage of 84%, the e-module design met extremely valid requirements when taken as a whole. These results indicate that the e-modules that have been designed have a relatively high level of validity so that the e-module is ready to be tested without revision.

Abstract

Heterogeneous classes present their own challenges in the learning process, where differences in abilities, interests, and learning styles of students require special strategies so that the learning process can be optimum. The aim of  research is to analyze differentiated learning strategies to create a diverse learning space that can be implemented at SD Muhammadiyah 4 Batu. The research was conducted using a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach. Data analysis through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the implementation of differentiated learning strategies involves five main aspects, namely physical flexibility, diversity of learning methods, use of various learning resources, creation of an inclusive environment, and utilization of technology. This strategy provides flexibility for students to be able to gain learning experiences according to their individual abilities and needs, and supports the creation of a more inclusive and collaborative learning environment. In addition, this strategy is proven to increase learning motivation and strengthen social interaction between learners in the classroom. Hence, differentiated learning is important in optimizing the learning process in heterogeneous classrooms, supporting learners' academic and social development as a whole.

Abstract

Adiwiyata, an environmental education program is one of the educational initiatives in Indonesia to address environmental challenges. The Adiwiyata program is a method of integrating environmental literacy into environmental learning. This research aims to determine the environmental literacy profile of Adiwiyata School students and the correlation between various environmental literacy domains. The research used a Quantitative Descriptive method with a population of class IX junior high school students. A sample of 100 students was determined using Purposive Sampling Technique. The research results show that the Adiwiyata curriculum has an impact on students' environmental literacy. With an environmental literacy score of 76.4, this student is included in the high category. The environmental literacy domain shows results in the medium and high categories; the domain of students' pro-environmental attitudes and behavior shows quite good results and supports the environment; and the knowledge domain shows moderate results. Based on the correlation test between domains, it was concluded that there was a relationship between knowledge, attitudes, pro-environmental behavior, and increasing students' environmental literacy. This shows that an increase in one of these factors tends to be associated with an increase in environmental literacy.
