Abstract

Bugis tribal culture is a very complex reality in the lives of Indonesian people. The Bugis tribe, as part of the Deutero Malay group, came to the archipelago after the first wave of migration from mainland Asia, especially Yunan. The name "Bugis" comes from "To Ugi," which refers to the Bugis people. La Sattumpugi, the first king of the Chinese Kingdom in Pammana, Wajo Regency, played a key role in Bugis history. The epic story "La Galigo," the world's greatest literary work, depicts the life journey of Sawerigading, We Cudai's husband, and creates the cultural foundation of the Bugis people. The Bugis community formed several classical kingdoms, such as Luwu, Bone, Wajo, Soppeng, Suppa, Sawitto, Sidenreng, and Rappang. However, the Bugis tribe has a marriage relationship with the Makassar and Mandar tribes. Currently, Bugis people are spread across various districts, creating a transitional area between Bugis and Makassar and Mandar. The Luwu Kingdom is considered to be one of the oldest kingdoms along with Cina, Mario, and Siang. History in the Bone region records seven generations of chaos, which was overcome by the To Manurung figure, known as Manurungnge ri Matajang, who was appointed Arumpone and formed the legislative council "ade pitue."

Abstract

The state of Indonesia is a state of law, an affirmation of this can be seen in Article 1 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. Settlement of cases through the judicial system which leads to a court verdict means an enforcement of the rules towards the slow lane. This is because law enforcement goes through a long distance, through various strata ranging from the Police, Prosecutors, District Courts, High Courts and even to the Supreme Court which ultimately has an impact on the accumulation of problems that are not small in number in the Court and not to mention other impacts. For this reason, it is necessary to continue with steps to draft laws concerning the rights and basic obligations of the state community in the context of practicing Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution. The reform of the Criminal Code which was drafted is positioned as laying the foundation for the building of the national criminal law system. Regarding the Politics of the Criminal Code, there is a concept known as the concept of Restorative Justice in the upcoming National Criminal Code. Restorative justice includes restoring the relationship between the victim and the perpetrator. The restoration of this correlation can be based on a common convention between the victim and the perpetrator. The victim can provide information about the loss suffered and the perpetrator is also given the opportunity to make amends, trough procedures for compensation, reconciliation, social work, as well as other conventions.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of smartphone use on student learning effectiveness at MTS Anwar Futuhiyyah. The method used is a quantitative method with a simple linear regression approach. The results of the hypothesis test indicate that there is no significant effect between smartphone use (variable X) on student learning effectiveness (variable Y). This is proven through regression analysis with the equation Y = 52.806 + 0.043X, where the X coefficient is 0.043 and the constant is 52.806. The correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.002 indicates a very weak relationship between the two variables. Meanwhile, the R Square value of 0.002 or 0.2% indicates that only 0.2% of the variation in learning effectiveness can be explained by the smartphone use variable, while the other 99.8% is influenced by other factors not analyzed in this study. Thus, smartphone use does not have a significant effect on student learning effectiveness.
