Abstract

Problem-solving skills are an important component of higher-order thinking, which is essential for students to handle a variety of problems. It includes reasoning and applying mathematical concepts to solve problems in other areas. To train students' problem-solving skills, activities that provide opportunities to practice mathematical problem-solving skills by providing opportunities to use thinking skills to develop and find problem solutions. One effective option is to apply appropriate learning approaches, such as Problem Based Learning (PBL). A lecturer is expected to have the ability to create teaching materials based on goals and needs. Currently, Electronic-Student Worksheets (e-LKM) is one of the educational programs where it can be used for evaluation of learning through information and communication technology. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the use of PBL-based e-LKM to improve students' problem-solving skills. This type of research is an experimental research with a pretest posttest control group design. The population in this study is 2nd semester students of PGSD UAD, while the sample is class D. The data collection technique uses interviews, observations, and pretest and posttest questions for student problem solving on SPLDV material. The results of this study show that the use of PBL-based e-LKM is proven to be effective in improving students' problem-solving skills with SPLDV materials. Therefore, this study concludes that the use of PBL-based e-LKM is effective in improving students' problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Koperasi Simpan Pinjam PEKKA is an initiative established by Yayasan Pemberdayaan Perempuan Kepala Keluarga (PEKKA). This program aims to empower female heads of households by enhancing their economic capabilities. This study seeks to evaluate the implementation of the PEKKA Cooperative Program using five key indicators: income growth, fulfillment of basic living needs, capital adequacy ratio, capital turnover, loan volume, non-performing loan (NPL) ratio, and member attendance intensity. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, incorporating the objective-based and needs-based impact evaluation methods proposed by John Owen. The study findings reveal that the Koperasi PEKKA has been demonstrably successful and has had a positive impact on its members. Indicators such as income growth, capital change, and training participation demonstrate a high degree of success. Meanwhile, other indicators, including capital adequacy ratio, loan volume, and NPL ratio, exhibit moderate success. To further enhance the program's effectiveness, certain regulations require refinement. The cooperative could strengthen its loan repayment regulations and implement more robust sanctions for members who consistently default on their obligations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of work culture and work motivation on employee performance at the Leadership Administration Bureau of the East Kalimantan Provincial Governor’s Office. The entire population of 69 employees was included as the research sample using a total sampling technique. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey method, utilizing questionnaires as the primary data collection instrument. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression. The results indicate that work culture and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. Work culture was found to have a more dominant influence compared to work motivation. These findings highlight the importance of creating a conducive work environment and providing appropriate motivation to enhance employee productivity and performance effectiveness within government bureaucracy.
