Abstract

Unit Pelaksana Teknis (UPTD) Farmasi Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Siak  Office Pharmacy is fully responsible for maintaining the quality of the vaccine until the vaccine is distributed, the process of storing vaccines in the cold chain box has a problem, namely, it is not equipped with a real-time temperature monitoring device that can provide a warning to pharmacists if the cold chain box temperature rises due to internal or external damage. In addition to the problems mentioned, there is another problem, namely the temperature recording process is still done manually every 2 hours on the log sheet by pharmacists. Based on this, the purpose of this study is to develop technological innovation in the pharmaceutical field, namely by creating an IoT-based temperature monitoring tool that is integrated with the Telegram application and the Blynk IoT application. The research methods used in this study are the waterfall method, experiments, and UML modeling. The process of running this system begins when the sensor is inserted into the cold chain box then the sensor will send temperature data to the Blynk IoT application to be displayed in real-time. The performance of this technology works with the provision that if the temperature does not comply with the provisions, a warning will appear on the Blynk IoT and Telegram applications, the temperature data is then saved and will be used as a basis for making a report by the pharmacist. This research produces a temperature monitoring device using a DS18B20 temperature sensor and an ESP8266 microcontroller with an accuracy rate of more than 95% and this system can also provide real-time temperature data information and warnings via telegram. This research is expected to contribute to the pharmaceutical field as well as the benefits and convenience for pharmacists in monitoring temperature and recording temperature data

Abstract

The referral system is the implementation of health services that regulates the delegation of tasks and responsibilities of reciprocal health services both vertically and horizontally. The referral system has levels starting from the first level health facilities, one of which is the Community Health Center (Puskesmas). Public understanding of BPJS Health, especially regarding the referral system, is one of the factors that influence the high and low ratio of referrals at the Community Health Center. With the emergence of the Covid-19 outbreak, people in RW 003 Kulim Village are afraid to come for treatment at the nearest health facility. This statement was directly conveyed by local residents where they prefer to use natural herbal remedies that are chopped themselves. This is also related to the community's lack of understanding of the flow/tiered referral system in health facilities. In this article, the author describes the community service activities that have been carried out to increase the understanding of the local community about the Tiered Referral System in Health Facilities Community service activities carried out at the Nurul Ikhlas Mosque RW 003 Kulim Village, Kulim District. Before conducting counseling and finding the priority of this problem, the writer conducted a quantitative descriptive study using a survey method using a questionnaire with a total of 130 samples, with the accidental sampling technique in RW 003 Kulim Village. As for the results of this community service activity, the community already knows the flow/tiered referral system at health facilities and the requirements for their management.

Abstract

Technology plays a crucial role in supporting life in various aspects, including social, economic, and healthcare sectors within the community. The development of technology in the healthcare field covers several aspects, such as patient services, internal hospital information systems, hospital management, and patient information systems. Some hospitals have implemented online-based information systems for patients. Through these systems, patients can access information related to service schedules, service availability, and types of services offered. However, access to these systems remains limited, generally only available through hospital websites or kiosks located within the hospital. This still restricts patients from obtaining detailed information regarding service availability and travel distance to hospitals based on their specific needs and required treatments. Although travel distance information can already be accessed through various available applications, such information is not yet integrated with the availability of hospital services. Therefore, there is a need for a service and information system that patients can use in the form of an application providing integrated data on service availability and travel distance. The proposed application is Android-based and accessible to the general public, given that most people are already familiar with and capable of using this operating system. The application will provide several input fields that users can fill in, such as patient name, gender, age, address, and medical complaints. These inputs will be processed by the application system to provide information on hospitals that offer the services needed by the patient, along with the travel distance from the patient’s location to each service-providing hospital. The application will also display the fastest route from the patient's location to the selected hospital. The determination of the fastest route utilizes Dijkstra’s Algorithm. Dijkstra’s Algorithm is a mathematical algorithm widely used for optimizing problem-solving conditions. Several similar applications have been developed previously; however, those applications generally only provide information about healthcare locations and general routes in the area. This application, however, is more specifically developed to allow patients to simply input the required healthcare services and their current address or location, which the system will then quickly process to deliver the nearest healthcare solutions and the fastest route to reach them.
