Abstract

Abstract

One of the factor anemia in adolescents is due to lack intake of iron nutrition.  the design of this study is quasi-experimental, pre-test and post test with control one group design. using  purposive sampling technique on 30 respondents was obtained which will later be divided into 2 groups.  The pusporse is to determine the relationship between the two variables. The results were obtained that the respondents in the experimental group of 14 respondents experienced mild anemia (93.33%), moderate anemia 1 person (6.67%), and the control group experienced mild anemia of 15 respondents (100%). Analysis using the Paired T test obtained the result of p = <0.000  which means that there is a relationship between giving kelakai leaves (STENOCLEANA PALUSTRI) to increase hb levels in anemia adolescents . Giving 100 grams of kelakai leaves in the form of soup is very effective in helping to increase HB levels in adolescents

Abstract

Objective: This study examines the implementation of the "Keep on Learning" strategy to enhance science learning outcomes for Grade IV students at Elementary School 142 North Bengkulu. It aims to identify effective practices and address obstacles hindering its success. Method: A qualitative research approach was employed, utilizing field research with primary and secondary data sources. Data collection included interviews, observations, and document analysis to explore the strategy's implementation and its challenges. Results: The study found that the strategy effectively improved student engagement and learning outcomes through project-based activities, experiments, technology integration, group discussions, independent assignments with feedback, and supplementary resources like videos and articles. However, several challenges were identified, including limited access to technology, insufficient parental support, and inadequate teacher preparedness. Novelty: This research highlights the critical role of continuous learning strategies tailored to elementary-level science education and provides actionable solutions, such as targeted teacher training, enhanced infrastructure, and increased community involvement, to overcome implementation barriers and optimize student outcomes.

Abstract

Oral language development, particularly vowel production, is a fundamental component of early communication and poses challenges for students with hearing impairments due to limited auditory input. Students with mild hearing impairment retain residual hearing that can be optimized through structured and multisensory instructional approaches. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Academic Program of Vocal Sound Adventure A–I–U–E–O in improving vowel production skills in a student with mild hearing impairment at SLB PGRI Kamal. A Single Subject Research (SSR) method with an A–B design was employed, consisting of a baseline phase and an intervention phase. The participant was a second-grade student with mild hearing impairment and typical cognitive functioning. Data were collected through structured vowel production assessments and systematic observations of learning behaviors, focusing on sound perception, articulation, vocal clarity, and learning engagement. The findings demonstrated a clear improvement in vowel production abilities following the intervention, indicated by a stable baseline, a marked level change, and a consistent upward trend during the intervention phase. These results suggest that multisensory oral language instruction through the Vocal Sound Adventure A–I–U–E–O program is effective in supporting vowel production development in students with mild hearing impairment, despite limitations related to the single-subject design.
