Abstract

The most critical performance of a reinforced concrete composite structure is the binding behavior between its components. Optimal bond behavior is essential for guaranteeing the service performance of reinforced concrete structures, influencing the structure's performance throughout its life cycle. In practical structural analysis, it is commonly accepted that the two do not generate relative slippage, leading to discrepancies between the studied structure and the real engineering conditions. Currently, numerous scholars worldwide have employed diverse testing methodologies, thoroughly examining various aspects influencing the binding behavior between bent rebar and concrete, resulting in numerous results. This paper provides a comprehensive review of the research status regarding the bonding performance of reinforced concrete, grounded in the pertinent findings of various scholars. It examines the bond mechanism, the experimental methodologies for assessing bond behavior, and the factors influencing this behavior. It is anticipated that it will serve as a reference for scholars examining the bond behavior of reinforced concrete in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of brand image, product quality, price, and lifestyle on iPhone purchasing decisions among Generation Z, specifically Dian Nuswantoro University students. Using a quantitative approach with an questionnaire survey distributed to 133 students, the data were analyzed through Partial Least Square (PLS). The results revealed that brand image, product quality, price, and lifestyle positive and significantly influence iPhone purchasing decisions. A strong brand image boosts buying interest, product quality builds confidence, price aligns with perceived benefits, and lifestyle affects preferences based on social status. The findings suggest that Apple should focus on brand image, product quality, and pricing strategies tailored to young consumers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menyajikan pendekatan konseptual dan eksperimental dalam memodelkan jaringan saraf tiruan (neural network) sebagai suatu transformasi nonlinier berlapis antar ruang vektor berdimensi tinggi. Dengan mendasarkan pada kerangka matematis komposisi fungsi linier dan aktivasi nonlinier, studi ini memetakan bagaimana representasi data secara spasial berubah melalui setiap lapisan jaringan. Menggunakan data sintetis berdimensi tinggi dan arsitektur multilayer perceptron (MLP), transformasi internal jaringan dianalisis baik secara visual melalui proyeksi PCA dan t-SNE, maupun secara kuantitatif melalui pengukuran perubahan metrik spasial. Hasil eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa jaringan saraf tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai aproksimator fungsi, tetapi juga secara aktif membentuk ulang geometri manifold data untuk meningkatkan keterpisahan antar kelas. Fungsi aktivasi seperti ReLU dan tanh terbukti memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap struktur representasi, dengan ReLU menghasilkan sparsifikasi spasial yang lebih kuat. Temuan ini mendemonstrasikan bahwa pemahaman terhadap dinamika spasial dalam neural network dapat memberikan fondasi yang lebih transparan dalam interpretasi model, serta membuka arah baru dalam riset interpretabilitas deep learning berbasis pendekatan matematis dan geometris.
