Abstract

The halal zone is a crucial component in the halal supply chain, ensuring compliance with Sharia standards from the raw material stage. This study examines the implementation of halal zones for micro-scale raw materials by highlighting strategic models and challenges at the local level. The objective of this research is to explore effective strategies for establishing halal zones that cater to the needs of small and medium-sized industries while identifying barriers to their implementation. The study employs a literature review method by analyzing recent literature on the halal supply chain, halal regulations, and relevant case studies. The findings reveal that the successful implementation of halal zones largely depends on the synergy between business actors, local governments, and halal certification bodies. The main challenges include a lack of awareness among business owners regarding halal principles, limited supporting infrastructure, and the complexity of the certification process. The implications of this research emphasize the need for more adaptive policies and community-based support systems to accelerate the adoption of halal zones at the local level. With the right strategy, halal zones can enhance the competitiveness of the halal industry and strengthen consumer trust in Sharia-compliant products.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and minimize engine downtime on Deutz common rail technology using the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) approach on the TMX-450 Pushback unit which is commonly used in the aviation industry. The analysis uses quantitative data based on downtime data and intervals related to downtime frequency data on injector components which have recorded failure parts with a frequency of 10 times and accumulated downtime of 21 hours. The results of the analysis on downtime values before and after the implementation of RCM are the inspection schedule increased from 5% to 12%, the repair schedule increased from 24% to 49%, the discharge schedule increased from 10% to 19%, and of course no treatment decreased significantly from 61% to 20%. The conclusion is that the implementation of RCM reduces total downtime by 30% and provides an increase in component reliability to 98.8% which shows that RCM is effective in optimizing maintenance scheduling.

Abstract

Halal Product Processing (P3H) certification mentoring is a community service activity aimed at helping P3H training participants obtain halal certification in halal human resource competencies. The research was conducted by mentoring halal human resource participants around the KM 72A Rest Area. The method of this activity is PAR (Participatory Action Research) to be able to answer partner problems directly through a combination of knowledge transfer, field practice and ongoing coaching. Mentoring is carried out by training P3H participants by providing pre- and post-tests, as well as creating SiHalal accounts and of course uploading documents to the application. Conducting simulations in conducting halal verification and validation for assisted MSMEs. Training is carried out until P3H participants are eligible to receive certificates. The result of this service is the certification of P3H training participants, which is expected to provide added value for participants and the community around the KM 72A Rest Area and of course, public or buyer confidence in the sustainability of the halal zone at the KM 72A Rest Area
