Abstract

ABSTRAKTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasilbelajar fisika materi cahaya melalui model pembelajaran Better Teaching andLearning (BTL) bagi peserta didik kelas VIII G SMP 1 Kudus Tahun Pelajaran2011/2012Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mengambil subyek peserta didik kelasVIII G SMP 1 Kudus sejumlah 26 anak terdiri dari 14 anak laki-laki dan12 anak perempuan, dimana peneliti sebagai guru IPA (fisika) pada kelastersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan selama 5 bulan dari bulan Maret 2012sampai bulan Juni 2012.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakankelas yang terdiri dari 2 siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri dari 4tahapan yaitu perencanan (planning), pelaksanaan (acting), pengamatan(observing) dan refleksi (reflecting). Pada siklus 1 tindakan yang dilakukandengan model pembelajaran BTL dengan menitikberatkan lembar kerjaterbimbing sedangkan pada siklus 2 tindakan yang dilakukan denganmodel pembelajaran BTL dengan menitikberatkan lembar kerja terbukadan pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar.Hasil penelitan menunjukkan bahwa secara teoritik dan empirik melaluimodel pembelajaran BTL dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajarfisika materi cahaya bagi peserta didik kelas VIII G SMP 1 Kudus padasemester 2 tahun 2011/2012. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar fisika sebesar49% dari kondisi awal 64 menjadi 94. Sedangkan Peningkatan hasil belajarfisika sebesar 22 % dari kondisi awal 72 menjadi 88.Kata Kunci: Aktivitas belajar, Hasil belajar, Model PembelajaranBTL

Abstract

Vasoconstrictive agents are added to local anesthesitics, used in orofacial surgery and dentistry for elimination of negative effect of local anesthetics on local sirculation in the place of anesthesiaadministration. Adrenalin is one of vasoconstrictive agens usually used to make greater effect of local anaesthetics. This study was undertaken to know about the effect of adrenalin addition 1:80,000 in Lidocain 2% on blood pressure in dental clinical use. Material and Methods: A total of 222 healthy volunteers were included in this randomized double blind clinical trial. They were locally injected as block anaesthesia of the lower jaw. Blood pressure (diastole and systole) is measuremed pre and 5minutes post injected. Result: Mean of blood pressure pre injected 110.14/74.77 mmHg, and blood pressure 5 minutes post injected 111.14/74.35 mmHg. There was statistical and clinical not significantly difference on diastole (p>0.05). There was statistical significantly difference on systole (p<0.05) but noton clinical only 1 mmHg difference

Abstract

Lower third molar present potential problems when they are misaligned. The angulation of lower third molar impacted in relation to axis of the second molar (vertical, distangular, mesioangular and horizontal etc Winter’s classification) themselves. Aim of study is to compare the difficulty of removal impacted lower third molar vertical angulation vs mesioangular angulation Winter’s classification. Material and Methods: 100 patients with impacted lower third molar were divided into two groups, consisting of 74 patients mesioangular position, and 26 vertical position. Classification all patients were class IIA Pell and Gregory classification, catagory 1 (straight root) Thoma  classification, catagory 1 (erupted root) Killey and Kay classification, category 1 (removal of tooth with partial bony impaction) AAOMS classification and mouth opening interincisal (MOI) higher than 35 mm They were removed impacted lower third molar by author with dental nursing and OR nursing. The duration of removal impacted third molar was determined from make flap until the tooth out from socket. Result: Mean of duration of removal impacted lower third molar vertical position was 17.68 minutes, and that mesioangular position was 17.14 minutes. There was not significant difference duration of removal impacted third molar between vertical position and mesioangular position (p> 0.05)

Abstract

Lidocain is widely used in dentistry especially in treatment as local anaesthetic is commonly used as a 2 % solution containing 1:80.000 adrenalin. Lidocain has two types of generic name and brand names (e.g. elokain, extracaine, ikacain, Xylestesin, pehacaine, and lidonest, etc). Government’s rules (Permenkes No 085/Menkes/Per/I/1989 and Permenkes No HK.02.02/Menkes/068/I/2010) must use Generic drugs in public health services, but professional dentists commonly use lidocain branded. Aim of study is to compare the efficacy of Lidocain adrenalin generic vs.Lidocain adrenalin branded in clinical use. Material and Methods: A total of 60 students of dentistry Faculty Jember Unversity was divided into two groups, consisting of 30 patients Generic lidocain and 30 branded lidocain. They were locally injected as block anaesthesia. The onset of the drugs was determined by sensation paraesthesia of the lower lip. The duration of the drugs was determined from onset until sensation of paraesthesia disappeared. Result: Mean of onset Generic lidocain adrenalin was 174 seconds, and that of branded lidocain adrenalin was 220 seconds. Mean of duration Generic lidocain adrenalin was 137,61 minutes, while that of branded lidocain adrenalin was 130 minutes. Conclusion : There was no difference in the efficacy between Generic lidocain adrenalin and branded lidocain adrenalin (p > 0,05).

Abstract

Local anesthetics are believed to be the most frequently used drugs in clinical dentistry. Lidocaine and mepivacaine are commonly used in RSGM (Oral and Dental Hospital Jember University), although they are generally regarded as safe, some adverse reactions can be expected and do occur. This study was undertaken to know the effect of vital sign on mepivacaine in local anaesthetic on dental clinical use. Material and Methods: A total of 42 (14 males, and 28 females) healthy students of Faculty of Dentistry Jember University were included in this clinical trial. They were locally injected as block anaesthesia of inferior alveolaris nerve. Blood pressure, pulse, and respiration were examined pre and post injection. Result: Mean of respiration pre/post (18.7/1.8) p>0.05, pulse pre/post (79.8/79.9) p>0.05, and diastole pre/post (74.9/73.9) p>0.05, and systole pre/post (112.0/110.2) p>0.05. There were no clinical and statistical differences on vital sign between pre and post injection. Conclusions: Mepivacaine as local anaesthetic is clinically safe on vital sign.

Abstract

Tooth extraction or other medical procedures in dentistry commonly used anesthetic agent such as lidocaine for pain relief. The lidocaine usually were added vasocontriction agent to reduce the dose, such as adrenalin. Its functions was as adrenergy or vasoconstritor. Releasing of excessive adrenaline from our body can result unexpected in vital sign. The purpose of this study was to determine the adding of adrenaline 1:80.000 in 2% lidocaine as inferior alveolar nerve block anesthesia that influenced in patients vital signs. This study was done at oral surgery department of Dental Hospital Jember University. The samples of this study were students who follow the Dental Vocational Training Medical Dentistry. The samples criteria were willing to be the subject of research, good general health, not allergy to lidocaine and adrenaline, do not suffer from asthma. Data was analyzed by paired t-test (pre-post t-test). The result of this study showed there was no statistically significant difference in the examination except diastole. But all of them there was no clinically significant difference. Thus using of this material does not affect the changing of vital signs, so it was safety material for clinical application.

Pada siklus 1 tindakan yang dilaku- kan dengan model pembelajaran BTL dengan menitikberatkan lembar ker- ja terbimbing sedangkan pada siklus 2 tindakan yang dilakukan dengan model pembelajaran BTL dengan menitikberatkan lembar kerja terbuka dan pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar.Hasil penelitan menunjukkan bahwa secara teoritik dan empirik me- lalui model pembelajaran BTL dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil be- lajar fisika materi cahaya bagi peserta didik kelas VIII G SMP 1 Kudus pada semester 2 tahun 2011/2012. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar fisika sebesar 49% dari kondisi awal 64 menjadi 94. Sedangkan Peningkatan hasil belajar fisika sebesar 22 % dari kondisi awal 72 menjadi 88.

Abstract

A possible complication of fossa canina infections is reactive thrombosis of the vena angularis, which can lead to cavernous sinus phlebothrombosis. According to the literature there are different opinions about the treatment protocol of fossa canina abscesses. This study reports theunusual case of odontogenic infection in children. A four years old girl patient arrived at a dental clinic with her mother and sister. The patient presented with massive swelling and redness in the region of left eye. According to the subjective data obtained from her mother and sister, the swelling occurs in the morning, six hours before being taken to the dentist. We suspect that the left maxillary first primary molar caused the case. Management of this case is open bur and there was bleeding from the pulp without pain. After 4 min, swelling in the lower eyelid decreased. The condition is getting better after 39 min before the patient took the drug. The patient still get medicine for healing efforts.

Abstract

Abstract---This study aims to formulate the company's distribution strategy. To develop distribution strategy, internal and external corporate environmental analysis and Strategy Diamond Model are performed. The analysis begins with data collection process using interview method. Interview data is processed using qualitative research methodology Analysis result stated that PT Pupuk Indonesia's business process does not have a reliable stock procurement planning and does not integrate distribution operation activities, so currently there are fertilizer scarcity complaints in mass media. Therefore, PT Pupuk Indonesia is recommended to send the fertilizer according to the six precise principles, develop a comprehensive stock and distribution plan, implement integrated distribution control, optimize fleet usage and distribution equipment, conduct joint auction synergies, establish internal partnership between PT Pupuk Indonesia and with external parties, implement long-term service contracts, and determine optimal stockpile of fertilizers.  Keywords: Distribution, Strategy, Fertilizer, Diamond Model, Six Precise.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013 melalui supervisi kolaboratif dengan teknik saling kunjung (SANJUNG) di SMP 5 Kudus. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan penilaian autentik. Subyek penelitian adalah guru mata pelajaran utama sejumlah 12 guru. Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah ini dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, masing-masing siklus terdiri perencanaan, pelaksanaan, Pengamatan dan Refleksi. Sedangkan pelaksanaan tindakan dari 3 pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan nilai perencanaan pembelajaran dari 69 sebelum penelitian menjadi 76 dan mencapai 86 di siklus 2. Sedangkan pelaksanaan pembelajaran nilainya dari 70 sebelum penelitian, menjadi 79 dan mencapai 92 di siklus 2. Selanjutnya penerapan penilaian autentik persentase guru yang semula 12% sebelum penelitian, menjadi 45% dan mencapai 83% di siklus 2. Supervisi kolaboratif kunjungan antar kelas dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam implementasi kurikulum 2013.This study aims to improve the competence of teachers in implementing curriculum 2013 through the supervision of the collaborative with the technique of mutual visits (SANJUNG) in SMP 5 Kudus. The focus in this study is the planning of learning, implementation of learning and authentic assessment. The subjects of the research are the teachers of major subjects a total of 12 teachers. This School Action Research  is implemented in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. While the implementation of the actions implemented into 3 meetings. The results showed that there is increase in the value of learning planning of 69 prior to the study to be 76 and 86 in second cycle. While the value of the implementation of the learning was 70 before the study, to be 79 and 92 in the second cycle. Furthermore, the application of authentic assessment percentage of teachers which was originally 12% before the study, tobe 45% and reached 83% in the second cycle. Collaborative Supervision with the technique of mutual visits (SANJUNG) can improve the competence of teachers in the implementation of curriculum 2013.
