Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology have brought significant changes to the world of education, creating new challenges for students in accessing and evaluating information. Digital literacy is the key to ensuring students are not only able to use technology, but also have the critical ability to sort and understand correct and relevant information. This research aims to analyze the level of digital literacy of students at MTs Pancasila, Bengkulu City and the factors that influence it. The research results show that although most students have basic skills in operating technology, they still have difficulty evaluating information critically and selecting valid and relevant information. Internal factors such as interest in learning and technology experience, as well as external factors such as the role of teachers, parents and technology infrastructure in schools play a role in shaping students' digital literacy levels. This research suggests integrating digital literacy skills in the curriculum and increasing support from teachers and parents to develop students' critical thinking skills in using technology.

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the potential of grape waste (Vitis vinifera L.) in the production of biogas as an environmentally friendly alternative energy source. The method used in this study was a simple laboratory experiment by utilizing 500 grams of grape waste and 500 mL of clean water with a ratio of 1:1. The mixture was placed into an aquades bottle functioning as a digester, tightly closed using rubber, and connected to a balloon as a gas collector. The fermentation process was carried out anaerobically for six days at room temperature. Daily observations were made on pH changes, odor, and the expansion of the balloon as indicators of gas production. The results showed that the formation of biogas began on the second day and reached its maximum on the fourth day, as indicated by the fully inflated balloon. On the fifth and sixth days, the gas production began to decrease, showing that the fermentation process was nearing completion. It can be concluded that grape waste can be used as raw material for biogas production using simple tools without the addition of other chemical materials. This process is an example of biotechnology application in daily life that supports environmental sustainability and provides a renewable alternative energy source.Keyword: Grape Waste, Biogas, Biotechnology, Renewable Energy, EnvironmentAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi limbah buah anggur (Vitis vinifera L.) dalam pembuatan biogas sebagai sumber energi alternatif yang ramah lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah eksperimen laboratorium sederhana dengan memanfaatkan 500 gram limbah buah anggur dan 500 mL air bersih dengan perbandingan 1:1. Campuran tersebut dimasukkan ke dalam botol aquades yang berfungsi sebagai digester, kemudian ditutup rapat menggunakan karet dan dihubungkan dengan balon sebagai penampung gas. Proses fermentasi dilakukan secara anaerob selama enam hari pada suhu ruang. Pengamatan harian dilakukan terhadap perubahan pH, bau, serta pengembangan balon sebagai indikator terbentuknya gas biogas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan gas mulai terjadi pada hari kedua dan mencapai puncak pada hari keempat yang ditandai dengan balon mengembang secara maksimal. Pada hari kelima dan keenam, volume gas mulai menurun, menandakan bahwa proses fermentasi hampir selesai. Dari hasil ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa limbah buah anggur dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku pembuatan biogas dengan menggunakan alat sederhana tanpa tambahan bahan kimia lainnya. Proses ini menjadi contoh penerapan bioteknologi sederhana dalam kehidupan sehari-hari yang mendukung pelestarian lingkungan dan penyediaan energi terbarukan.Kata Kunci: Limbah Buah Anggur, Biogas, Bioteknologi, Energi Terbarukan, Lingkungan
