Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi citra perempuan yang terbentuk melalui iklan tersebut. Penelitian ini penting untuk memahami bagaimana iklan memainkan peran aktif dalam merepresentasikan gender dan memengaruhi persepsi masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif yang didasarkan paada teori Sara Mills. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa posisi subjek-objek dalam iklan ini sebagian besar diarahkan pada perempuan. Namun, terdapat pula subjek yang direpresentasikan oleh laki-laki atau Masyarakat secara umum, yang ditandai melalui penggunaan kata “mereka” sebagai sudut pandang orang ketiga. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa citra yang ditampilkan dalam iklan ini mencerminkan pesan positif mengenai kepercayaan diri, kecantikan alami, dan penerimaan diri Perempuan yang dipernakan oleh aktor dalam iklan. Iklan yang menyajkan citra positif perempuan dapat membantu mengubah persepsi masyarakat tentang peran dan nilai Perempuan. Kemudian, penyajian citra perempuan yang kuat dan percaya diri dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan rasa percaya diri dikalangan perempuan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the author's expression during the Aceh conflict period as found in the short story “Dia Dulu Bukan GAM” by Fazil Abdullah. The approach used is an expressive approach based on Abrams' theory. The data source in this study is the short story “Dia Dulu Bukan GAM” by Fazil Abdullah. The data in this study includes phrases and sentences found in the narrative of the story as well as the behaviors/feelings of the characters as depicted by the author in the short story. Data collection was carried out using the semiotic reading method. The steps that can be taken in analyzing literary works using Abrams' expressive approach are (1) understanding and carefully reading the literary work and analyzing a number of the author's thoughts, perceptions, feelings, and experiences that are present directly or indirectly in the work, (2) presenting the author's thoughts, perceptions, feelings, and experiences and relating the data obtained to the author's biography, and finally (3) draw conclusions. The results of the analysis found that the author's expressions reflected in the work include feelings, idealism, experiences, and social situations occurring around the author

Abstract

In linguistic studies, grammatical cohesion is one of the important aspects in discourse analysis, one of which is in literary texts such as short stories. In this study, a short story entitled "Matahari Ready for Sale" will be analyzed based on its classification. This short story not only presents an interesting storyline and social representation, but also shows the distinctive use of gramma in building meaning. This study uses a qualitative approach because this study tries to decipher language data using interpretation. In addition, the data that has been collected will be collected using a quantitative analysis model from Milles & Huberman which includes data collection, data reduction, data display (data presentation), and conclusion drawing and verification. The data that have been collected from the short story will be used to analyze the classification of the human typology and one of them is banyan man.
