Abstract

Program kuliah kerja nyata adalah bentuk pengabdian mahasiswa kepada masyarakat yang betujuan memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam berbagai bidang termasuk pendidikan. Artikel ini membahas tentang peran mahasiswa KKN dalam mendukung program asistensi mengajar di SDN 1 Darmasari. Pengabdian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi,wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk mengidetifikasi kontribusi mahasiswa KKN tehadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian meunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa KKN berperan aktif dalam membantu guru melalui pendampingan siswa, pengelolaan kelas, pembuatan media pembelajaran dan pembuatan program untuk membantu siswa dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

The development of information technology today has had a significant impact in various sectors of life, including in the management of village government administration. Technology facilitates the process of delivering information that is fast, accurate, and not limited by time and place. Darmasari Village, which is part of Pemangkat Subdistrict, experiences several challenges in population administration services, such as inefficiency in recording and managing population data. Through the Bina Desa Community Service Program (KKN), training on population information systems is expected to improve efficiency in recording population data. The implementation of the population information system aims to simplify administrative processes and accelerate public services, and ensure data transparency that can be accessed by the community without the need to come directly to the village office. With this training, it is hoped that village officials can be more effective in carrying out their duties, and improve the quality of services to the people of Darmasari Village.

Abstract

The academic information services at the Faculty of Engineering, Hamzanwadi University currently still rely on manual methods that require considerable time and effort, especially in answering repetitive questions. Therefore, this study proposes the use of an artificial intelligence-based chatbot to provide academic information automatically through the WhatsApp platform. This chatbot system is built using the n8n platform for workflow automation and Gemini AI for natural language processing (NLP), enabling it to understand and provide relevant answers to students' questions. In this study, the system was tested through a series of trials to evaluate the effectiveness of the chatbot in delivering academic information services, such as academic schedules, course registration (KRS), and other related information. The results showed that the implementation of this chatbot can improve the efficiency of academic services by providing fast and accurate responses, as well as reducing the workload of administrative staff.
