Abstract

A common ear, nose, and throat (ENT) condition that typically affects people of all ages is tonsillitis. Tonsillitis related issues can be avoided with a diagnosis procedure. In the medical field, expert systems a technology that can solve issues using expert knowledge are frequently employed to diagnose illnesses. People can determine whether they have tonsillitis or not by simply use the system for early diagnosis. The Forward Chaining technique is applied on the expert system. Because the Forward Chaining approach can trace the rules from user inputs and then derive conclusions, it is usually used. The Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach is implemented during application design and development simply because the method has the benefit of enabling the quick development of applications. The tonsillitis expert system was developed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database, which facilitate the maintenance of facts and knowledge. From the research results, it is shown that the system were able to help diagnose tonsillitis quickly and provide recommendations for treatments. Expert system to diagnose tonsillitis is expected to raise public awareness of the illness's dangers and the need of staying well. The system should also be able to help the general public make well informed judgments regarding treatment of tonsillitis.

Abstract

There is still a Lack of supporting media in learning Malay Arabic, elementary school students have difficulty recognizing hijaiyah letters. At present learning is still running using paper and textbooks so that the method of delivering limited material, also added background beliefs that have elementary school students are different, so the learning process becomes slow and the teacher has difficulty explaining the learning of Arabic Malay with material clear and precise. In the process of learning Malay Arabic, he must be able to master the types of Malay Arabic writing, the history of Malay Arabic, the symbolization of the Malay Arabic script, and the writing of the Malay Arabic script. This research process uses the Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC) method and uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML) tool. Also use construct 2 software in designing applications. Puzzle game mode will be directed to draw and place images that have been randomized by the system, in the quiz game users are directed to choose the available answers. The results of this study are puzzle educational game applications and Arabic quizzes.

Abstract

Di era teknologi digital yang berkembang pesat, banyak dari kalangan anak, remaja, dewasa, sampai orang tua mengandalkan smartphone. Smartphone dapat membantu mendapatkan informasi dengan mudah dan cepat. Dulu, informasi didapat hanya melalui media cetak, televisi, dan radio saja. Dengan kehadirannya smartphone, semua informasi tersedia dengan mudah dan efisien serta dapat diakses oleh siapa saja. Banyak yang memanfaatkan dari perkembangan zaman ini dan banyak sekali manfaat yang kita dapatkan. Di era perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi, seharusnya dapat membantu anak-anak dalam proses belajar mengajar di waktu luangnya dengan membuat aplikasi pembelajaran. Adab dan akhlak merupakan pelajaran yang sangat penting baik didalam maupun diluar sekolah, hal itu dapat mendorong siswa untuk memiliki budi pekerti yang baik. Untuk dapat membangkitkan minat belajar siswa dalam mempelajari adab dan akhlak Nabi, perlu adanya aplikasi pembelajaran yang membahas tentang adab dan akhlak Nabi. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan pendekatan rapid application development (RAD), menggunakan alat bantu desain dan analisis Unified Modeling Language (UML), yang terdiri dari use case diagram, activity diagram, sequence diagram, dan class diagram. Aplikasi pembelajaran menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Java, dan merancang aplikasi pembelajaran menggunakan Android Studio.

Abstract

In this digital era, technological advancements have transformed many manual activities into digital ones, making them easier to manage. One of these is in the field of buying and selling products, where before the existence of digitalization, product sales still used conventional methods, especially in recording transactions. The method of recording transactions using transaction notebooks often suffers from damage and human errors in recording transactions and consumes costs and effort. With the advent of digitalization, developing an Android-based sales application using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method allows us to quickly build Android-based applications using the Flutter framework and design the system using Unified Modeling Language (UML) to get an overview of the system being created. By using the Android-based sales application with the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method we can understand the speed and efficiency of designing applications, and through digital-based applications, we can increase sales and reduce human errors and various unwanted incidents.

Abstract

The selection of academic majors at vocational high schools (SMK), particularly at SMK Negeri 7 Batam, often faces challenges in aligning students’ preferences with their academic capabilities. This issue arises due to the current New Student Admission Selection (SPMB) system, which allows students to select three program options, yet only the first choice is prioritized, resulting in frequent mismatches in placement when competition is high. To resolve this, a web-based Decision Support System (DSS) is developed using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to evaluate and recommend suitable majors based on academic performance and student interest. The system is built with Visual Studio Code as the development environment, Laravel as the PHP framework, and Unified Modeling Language (UML) to design system workflows and structures. The decision-making process involves score normalization, criteria weighting, and ranking of alternatives to produce optimal recommendations. Accessible through a web browser, the system supports students, teachers, and admission committees by providing a more efficient and accurate tool for academic major placement. Testing results demonstrate the system’s effectiveness in improving decision accuracy and supporting academic guidance processes within the vocational school environment.

Abstract

Consumer purchasing pattern analysis is a strategic approach to understanding customer behavior and supporting data-driven decision-making. This research was conducted at AHHAS PT. Mitra Pinasthika Mustika Batam with the aim of identifying relationships between motorcycle service items that are frequently selected together by consumers. The method used is the Association Rules algorithm, specifically Apriori, with a quantitative approach applied to 4,026 transaction records from April to June 2025. The data were analyzed through preprocessing, one-hot encoding, and the application of the Apriori algorithm using parameters of minimum support of 5%, confidence of 30%, and lift > 1. The results showed 80 frequent itemsets and 38 valid association rules. The rule with the highest lift was Oil Chang}-Gear Set, indicating a strong correlation between the two services. Other patterns such as Spooring → Front Tire and Air Filter Balancing also showed significant associations. These findings can be utilized to design service bundling strategies, automatic recommendation systems, and optimize stock and workforce management. This study proves that the Apriori algorithm is effective in uncovering hidden patterns within transaction data, enhancing operational efficiency and service quality in the automotive sector.
