Abstract

The focus of this research is (1) How is the process of applying adaptive assertive techniques to foster adaptive abilities in adolescents (2) How is the application of adaptive assertive techniques to foster adaptive abilities in adolescents . To describe these problems, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. From the results of data analysis it can be concluded that REBT with Adaptive Assertive Techniques to Grow Adaptive Capabilities in Adolescents is carried out in 5 steps, namely helping problems, diagnosis, prognosis, therapy/medication, evaluation/follow-up. After the counseling process has been carried out, there are several impacts from the application of adaptive assertive techniques to the counselee where the counselee's ability to adapt is increasing. The counselee is able to control himself when the counselee feels difficulty in adaptation

Abstract

Students who work while studying often experience anxiety and difficulty in managing time, which hurts their learning outcomes and emotional well-being. This study aims to understand the initial state of the counselee, the process of applying therapy, and the impact of applying Client-Centered Theory with Positive Regard (Acceptance) techniques in managing the anxiety of these students. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, documentation, and interview methods, and the type of case study research. The results showed positive changes in the counselee after therapy, including improvements in positive affirmations, emotional management, and social interactions. The counselee began to smile more often, take a deep breath, worship more diligently, and show improvement in interacting with family. In conclusion, applying Client-Centered Theory with Positive Regard (Acceptance) techniques effectively manages the anxiety of students who study while working. This therapy helps counselees to accept themselves, think positively, and improve emotional and social well-being. It is hoped that the counselee will continue to remember Allah as a source of strength and understand that everything happens by His will, including the challenges faced.

Abstract

Fenomena bullying memiliki dampak negatif yang signifikan terhadap korban, seperti kecemasan, depresi, dan ketidak percayaan diri yang dapat berlangsung lama. Maka salah satu upaya yang harus dilakukan konselor  memberikan layanan kepada konseli dengan menggunakan teknik thought stopping yang dapat diterapkan untuk membantu korban pembullyan mengatasi trauma dan kecemasan akibat bullying. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif, yaitu suatu pendekatan penelitian yang menghasilkan data deskriptif berupa data-data tertulis atau lisan dari orang dan perilaku yang dapat diambil. Bentuk penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif. peneliti melakukan pendekatan terhadap konseli melalui wawancara. Hasil Treatment konseli menerapkan Teknik Thought Stopping perubahan yang dialami luamayan membaik mulai dari gak bisa tidur sekarang bisa tidur dan juga konseli mau  terbuka dan berkomunikasi atau mencari relasi  baru bersama orang-orang baru yang belum di kenal, konseli menjadi lebih percaya diri, berani di lingkungan yang ramai, pikiran negative-nya berhenti dan konseli bisa mengalihkan fokus ke aktivitas yang lebih positif. Menggunakan teknik ini lumayan bisa mengubah masalah konseli mungkin dibilang belum sempurna tetapi dalam menjalankan arahan yang di berikan konselor kepada konseli sudah lumayan menghilangkan pikiran yang ada dimasalalunya. Teknik ini bertujuan untuk menghentikan pikiran negatif yang mengganggu dan menggantinya dengan pikiran positif, sehingga korban dapat lebih percaya diri dan mampu berinteraksi dengan lingkungan sosialnya secara lebih sehat. hal juga mencakup landasan ajaran Islam, seperti QS Al-Hujurat ayat 11, yang mengajarkan untuk tidak menghina atau mencela orang lain, sebagai panduan moral untuk mencegah perilaku bullying.
