Abstract

Promoting inclusivity requires the vital aspect of ensuring equality for people with disabilities in information dissemination. As one of the mass media, the radio community contributes to knowledge and information dissemination to promote equality. Radio Braile Surabaya is a radio community providing a forum for information exchange. It aims to empower a source of knowledge to promote inclusivity, equality, and disability awareness in urban society. Therefore, this study investigates the strategies of content production of Radio Braile Surabaya to promote equality and inclusivity for disabled people, especially people with visual impairments. This study applied a qualitative approach with a case study as the framework. The data was collected through in-depth interviews with purposive samplings. The interviews were conducted with three key informants who manage and organize Radio Braile Surabaya. The result shows that the strategies include collaborative content planning, underlining the public infrastructure for disabled people, and emphasizing audio-rich content production and storytelling. This study underscores the importance of the radio community as a tool for empowering marginalized groups, such as people with disabilities, by providing equal information dissemination through accessible content.

Abstract

This research aims to examine implementing a culture of devotion to increase the spiritual intelligence of students at the Al-Hidayah Bogor Islamic College (STAI). This research collects data through observation, interviews, and document study using a qualitative approach. The results of the research revealed 19 forms of devotional culture that were applied, such as tahfidz tahsin Al-Qur'an, infaq, smile-greeting-greeting, politeness, dhuha prayer, dhikr, pilgrimage rituals, and tolerance. Implementing a culture of devotion is carried out using an instructive sequential strategy based on structural aspects, including school policy, the commitment of the school community, creating an atmosphere of devotion, internalization of values, example, and habituation. The commitment of school leaders, the gradual process of internalizing values, an exemplary and persuasive approach, and habituation are the keys to successful implementation. The positive impact can be seen in the behavior of students who have good morals, high tolerance, a spirit of mutual help, self-confidence, honesty, discipline, a broad understanding of religion, and deep faith and devotion. The results of this research strengthen the theory regarding the importance of implementing the values ??of devotion to form spiritual intelligence and can be a reference for other educational institutions in designing similar strategies.

Abstract

The TikTok App is a video-based social media that provides special effects features released in 2016. Over the last few years, Tiktok App has significantly developed so that this has been a major opportunity for everyone to become creative utilizing TikTok App with a variety of content, one of which is content around the fashion world. The presence of various content about fashion trends has become a pleasure for the audience, especially for students who follow the current developments of the fashion world, where the TikTok App has rapidly become a reference in student dress styles to follow the latest trends. This research applies descriptive quantitative research that uses a survey method with the Cluster Rendom Sampling technique, In obtaining data using the Slovin formula technique where 94 respondents were found. Furthermore, data analysis using simple linear regression analysis to determine the magnitude of the influence caused by the influence of social media TikTok on fashion trends in students. Accordance the output of this study, shows that there is a significant influence between the use of the TikTok App on fashion trends towards students with a correlation of 0.608 and a coefficient of determination of 0.369, which means that the effect of social media on TikTok on fashion trends in students is 36.9%.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the design for developing and evaluating the media for learning with a collaborative-contextual model in improving the reading skills and bilingual abilities of early childhood in the Sukorambi Islamic Kindergarten (TK), Jember Regency. This research uses a qualitative type with a descriptive exploratory approach—data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies. The data were then analyzed using the stages of domain analysis, taxonomic analysis, componential analysis, and cultural theme analysis with the validity of the data, the credibility of the triangulation method and sources, and confirmability. Based on the research findings, it was concluded that the six stages in the design of contextual-collaborative assured-based learning program development in improving reading skills and bilingual communication skills are as follows: Analysis of Early-Age Learners as Digital Natives: Determining learning objectives, selecting methods, media, and materials (including the application of student-centered methods, developing an Outline of Content for Podcast Media, creating Podcast Media Scripts, and formulating Bilingual Learning Implementation Plans). Utilizing media and teaching materials involves reviewing and preparing materials, establishing conducive learning environments, engaging learners, and ensuring enriching learning experiences. Additionally, active learner involvement and thorough evaluation are essential components.

Abstract

The spread of radicalism in educational institutions, particularly in Islamic boarding schools, is often attributed to institutional leaders who promote a rigid interpretation of religion. The pivotal role of Kiai (Islamic scholars or leaders) and teachers in these schools is central to developing students’ attitudes toward Rahmatan lil alamin (mercy for all creation) and fostering a moderate perspective. As a role model, Kiai plays a significant role in cultivating a sense of moderation among Santri (students). This article aims to describe and analyze the leadership strategies employed by Kiai in this context. The research adopts a qualitative design with a case study approach and was conducted at the Amanatul Ummah Islamic Boarding School in Pacet, Mojokerto, East Java. The findings highlight several key strategies Kiai Asep Saifuddin Chalim implemented, including strengthening Nahdatul Ulama traditions, implementing a rigorous selection process for teachers and Staff, adhering to fundamental principles of success, and integrating moderate values into the school curriculum. Furthermore, the Kiai’s exemplary leadership supports the development of a wise and balanced attitude among Santri.

Abstract

Heterogenitas masyarakat Sulawesi Utara yang kaya akan suku, agama, dan budaya meningkatkan kerentanannya terhadap konflik sosial keagamaan. Oleh karena itu, mitigasi konflik keagamaan menjadi hal yang penting, salah satunya melalui kebijakan deteksi dini berbasis moderasi beragama. Pemerintah, melalui Forum Kerukunan Umat Beragama berupaya meningkatkan pemahaman dan toleransi masyarakat dengan program pendidikan dan penguatan moderasi beragama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data melalui wawancara, observasi lapangan, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penanganan konflik sosial keagamaan memerlukan penguatan untuk meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia masyarakat Amurang, serta transformasi digital dengan aplikasi Sistem Peringatan Dini konflik dan pengukuran perilaku keagamaan melalui Indeks Religiusitas setiap tahun. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mendeteksi dini potensi konflik. Selain itu, strategi komunikasi berbasis moderasi beragama terbukti efektif sebagai komunikasi penyelesaian konflik sosial keagamaan yang transparan dan dapat diterima oleh seluruh masyarakat Amurang. Penerapan kebijakan ini diharapkan mampu menciptakan masyarakat Sulawesi Utara yang lebih harmonis, dengan pengelolaan keberagaman agama yang bijak, sehingga tercipta kedamaian dan kerukunan antar umat beragama.

Abstract

Students who work while studying often experience anxiety and difficulty in managing time, which hurts their learning outcomes and emotional well-being. This study aims to understand the initial state of the counselee, the process of applying therapy, and the impact of applying Client-Centered Theory with Positive Regard (Acceptance) techniques in managing the anxiety of these students. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, documentation, and interview methods, and the type of case study research. The results showed positive changes in the counselee after therapy, including improvements in positive affirmations, emotional management, and social interactions. The counselee began to smile more often, take a deep breath, worship more diligently, and show improvement in interacting with family. In conclusion, applying Client-Centered Theory with Positive Regard (Acceptance) techniques effectively manages the anxiety of students who study while working. This therapy helps counselees to accept themselves, think positively, and improve emotional and social well-being. It is hoped that the counselee will continue to remember Allah as a source of strength and understand that everything happens by His will, including the challenges faced.

Abstract

Tourism is a journey supported by the business world, society, and government. Stating that the economy of a nation is experiencing human marginalization. The media is the mass of the masses in tourism. Tourists will feel more comfortable if they communicate easily because there will be no language misunderstandings. Tourism can also foster healthy competitiveness among individuals. For example, people will compete to attract the attention of tourists through creativity created by displaying accommodation that is consistent with local culture, finding new manufacturing techniques, making unique souvenirs, and continuously coming up with innovations so that tourists can stay...and if you come back, you can still choose a hotel, restaurant, or memento. So that the economy in tourist locations can develop and develop well, the tourism industry must be promoted in a planned and integrated manner that improves the welfare and standard of living of the community.

Abstract

This study investigates the management of local content curriculum in shaping religious behavior at MA Raden Paku Wringinanom. Specifically, the research addresses three key questions: (1) How is the local content curriculum planned to foster religious behavior at MA Raden Paku Wringinanom? (2) How is the local content curriculum implemented to shape religious behavior at MA Raden Paku Wringinanom? (3) What are the outcomes of the local content curriculum in fostering religious behavior at MA Raden Paku Wringinanom? The objectives of this study are to: (1) examine the planning of the local content curriculum, (2) explore the implementation process, and (3) analyze the outcomes in shaping religious behavior at MA Raden Paku Wringinanom. This research employs a qualitative method with descriptive analysis, utilizing an interactive model. The data analysis involves stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. After collecting and categorizing the data, the researcher provides an in-depth description before concluding the findings based on available sources. The results of this study are as follows: (1) The planning of the local content curriculum involves adherence to the School Work Plan (RKT) and the Madrasah Work Plan and Budget (RKAM) to define local content programs, select subjects, assign teachers, and determine learning resources and funding. (2) The implementation phase includes syllabus review, lesson plan (RPP) development, and assessment. (3) The outcomes of the local content curriculum include program-specific local content initiatives and the evaluation of student learning outcomes.
