This paper discusses the dialectical thoughts of Ibn Rushd and theologians on divine metaphysics. The discussion is based on the study of criticisms and dialogues on the theologians’ view on metaphysics. Three important points emerge: firstly, how Ibn Rushd presented the basis of his critical arguments; secondly, the process of Ibn Rushd’s methods of criticism on the theologians’ metaphysical reasons and lastly, the content of Ibn Rushd’s criticisms of the theologians’ metaphysical reason. This paper provides a detailed description of the themes as accurate and comprehensive ways to provide a basis of Ibn Rushd’s criticism. This study contributes to encouraging and changing the views of scholars of Islamic theology that Ibn Rushd, apart from being a philosopher, is also a critical thinker in the field of Islamic theology.

Kajian teks-teks keagamaan, saat ini tidak dapat berdiri sendiri, melainkan perlu melibatkan disipilin ilmu lain. Sebab problem sosial keagamaan semakin kompleks, sementara Islam yang bersumber dari ajaran al-Qur’an dan hadis harus juga berdialog dengan realitas dan perkembangan zaman. Oleh sebab itu, paradigma interkoneksi keilmuan menjadi sebuah keniscayaan sejarah, sehingga analisis dan kesimpulan yang diambil dari teks keagamaan tersebut bisa lebih dialektis dan komprehensif, serta akomodatif terhadap perkembangan masyarakat. kajian terhadap hadis baik yang herupa kritik terhadap otentisitasnya, maupun metode pemahamannya, termasuk berkembang mulai dari yang tekstualis hingga kontekstualis, dari yang bersifat dogmatis hingga yang kritis, dari yang model literal hingga yang liberal, menjadi perhatian bagi pemikir hadis. Apapun ragam dan model pendekatan dalam memahami hadis, hal itu merupakan apresiasi dan interaksi mereka dengan hadis sebagai sumber ajaran Islam kedua setelah al- Qur’an. Dalam tulisan ini, penulis mencoba memberikan tawaran baru dari berbagai sumber, bagaimana cara memahami hadis (filth al-hadits) dengan paradigma interkoneksi, yakni pendekatan linguistik, historis, sosiologis, dan antropologis. Tujuan dari pembahasan ini agar pemaknaan masyarakat terhadap hadis tidak mengalami stagnasi dan rigid (kaku).

Thematic interpretation of the Qur'an is a method of interpretation that involves collecting verses from the Qur'an related to a particular theme. This approach is becoming increasingly important in dealing with the difficulties faced by society today. In the era of information and globalization, interpretation of the themes of the Koran can provide solutions to problems that are developing in various parts of the world. The thematic interpretation method can also be prepared practically and systematically by following the chronology of the revelation of the verses, so that it can keep up with the times by adapting to all places, situations and conditions. One of the figures who provides ideas and solution techniques in understanding the text of Al- Qur'an is Yusuf al-Qardhawi. He emphasized the importance of gaining a good and thorough understanding by avoiding narrow and unfounded textual interpretations. This article is a literature study that focuses on al-Qardhawi's method in understanding the text of the Qur'an. The thematic interpretation approach introduced by al-Qardhawi allows readers of the Qur'an to understand the messages of the Qur'an more broadly and are relevant to the contemporary context.

Currently, the study of religious texts cannot stand alone, but needs to involve other scientific disciplines. Because socio-religious problems are increasingly complex, while Islam, which originates from the teachings of the Koran and Hadith, must also dialogue with the realities and developments of the times. Therefore, the scientific interconnection paradigm has become a historical necessity, so that analyzes and conclusions drawn from religious texts can be more dialectical and comprehensive, as well as accommodating to the development of society. The study of hadith, both in the form of criticism of its authenticity and methods of understanding, including developments ranging from textualist to contextualist, from dogmatic to critical, from literal to liberal, is a concern for hadith thinkers. Whatever the variety and model of approach in understanding hadith, it is their appreciation and interaction with hadith as the second source of Islamic teachings after the Koran. In this article, the author tries to provide new offers from various sources, how to understand hadith (filth al-hadith) with an interconnection paradigm, namely linguistic, historical, sociological and anthropological. The purpose of this discussion is so that people's meaning of hadith does not experience stagnation and rigidity
