Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hal-hal yang terkait dengan budaya organisasi berbasis kemampuan memecahkan masalah/Adversity Quotient (AQ) yang berjalan di Sekolah Menengah Atas Swasta ITP Tarjun Kabupaten Kotabaru. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan teknik wawancara tidak langsung, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, guru terkait, serta staff TAS. Data yang telah diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan teknik (1) reduksi data; (2) penyajian/display data; (3) verifikasi atau penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi Sekolah Menengah Atas Swasta ITP Tarjun menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter spiritual maupun sosial, ilmu pengetahuan, tumbuhnya kreativitas melewati kegiatan workshop pendidik, kegiatan peserta didik praktik P5 dan ikut berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan sosial seperti karnaval dan kegiatan lainnya. Artinya bahwa program yang dibuat ini menciptakan etos kerja yang lebih kooperatif, inovatif, dan terorganisir, yang berkontribusi pada kinerja keseluruhan organisasi.

Abstract

The disparity in educational quality between urban and rural schools in Indonesia remains a critical obstacle to national development. This study aims to analyze the role of teacher empowerment as a strategic solution to improve school quality amid these inequalities. Using a qualitative literature review, this Research synthesizes academic sources published since 2020 that discuss teacher empowerment and educational quality. The results indicate that empowerment strategies, including continuous professional development, technology-based workshops, and peer collaboration, significantly enhance pedagogical competence, teacher motivation, and student achievement. However, their implementation faces substantial challenges due to uneven teacher distribution and limited infrastructure in frontier, outermost, and disadvantaged (3T) regions. The findings suggest that achieving educational equity requires a systemic shift in which teacher autonomy and capacity building are positioned as core policies rather than supplementary programs. Therefore, policymakers must prioritize investment in human capital in disadvantaged areas to effectively bridge the quality gap and support sustainable national education goals.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the effectiveness of the management of the Merdeka Curriculum (Independent Curriculum) at SMKN 1 Sungai Tabuk through a qualitative case study approach. Data collection techniques included semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation analysis involving the school principal and two teachers at SMKN 1 Sungai Tabuk. The results indicate that the cycle of planning, development, monitoring, and evaluation operates responsively, based on the principles of link and match and human resource empowerment. Planning involves analyzing the needs of students, local potential, and the Business and Industrial World (DUDI) for curriculum relevance. Development engages teachers actively through internal training, external upskilling, and industrial collaboration, enhancing a sense of ownership and improving pedagogical-technical competence. Continuous monitoring employs tiered frequency with participatory supervision, building a reflective culture supported by visionary leadership. Comprehensive evaluation integrates theoretical exams, practical assessments, industrial projects, and feedback from the business sector for accountability and continuous improvement. These findings represent a best practice in overcoming limitations such as inadequate facilities, varying teacher comprehension, and resource imbalances through flexible innovations, including rotational fieldwork (PKL) schedules, elective subjects, and structured character building. This approach successfully produces vocational graduates who are competent, creative, disciplined, and job-ready..
