Abstract

Posyandu plays a crucial role in bringing promotive and preventive efforts closer to the community, especially in improving nutritional status and maternal and child health. However, low community participation in visiting Posyandu remains an issue in the working area of the Sambung Makmur Community Health Center. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing toddler visits to Posyandu in this area. This research employs a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, with a total of 76 respondents from 305—mothers with toddlers aged 12–59 months registered at five Posyandu in the working area of the Sambung Makmur Community Health Center. Data were collected through interviews using a questionnaire that measured variables such as the mother's knowledge level, employment status, family support, and toddler visits to Posyandu. Bivariate analysis showed that the mother's knowledge level (p-value = 0.000, correlation coefficient 0.529), the mother's employment status (p-value = 0.000, correlation coefficient 0.547), and family support (p-value = 0.000, correlation coefficient 0.549) all had significant relationships with the frequency of toddler visits to Posyandu. These findings indicate the importance of improving maternal knowledge, considering maternal employment status, and strengthening family support to increase toddler visits to Posyandu.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance village governance capacity and local economic empowerment through the development and management training of a village website in Pakukerto Village, Sukorejo District, Pasuruan Regency. The program supports village-based digital transformation and community-centered development in line with the President’s Asta Cita agenda. This community service activity adopts a CBA participatory approach with a case study design. The implementation stages include program planning, collection of village and MSME data, development of a village website, training on website management for village officials and MSME actors, as well as monitoring and evaluation. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, documentation, and pre-test and post-test assessments to measure participants’ capacity improvement. The results indicate that the developed village website functions effectively as an integrated information center, combining village profile data, public services, tourism information, and a digital showcase for local MSME products. The training activities significantly improved participants’ digital literacy and technical skills. Furthermore, the website contributed to improved transparency of village governance, more efficient dissemination of public information, increased community participation, and broader promotion of local MSME products. The originality of this community service lies in the integrated model that combines digital infrastructure development, capacity-building training for village officials and MSME actors, and the utilization of a village website as a simultaneous instrument for governance improvement and local economic strengthening. This model can serve as a replicable best practice for implementing smart village initiatives and community-based national development in accordance with the Asta Cita agenda.
