Abstract

The issue of employee turnover poses a significant challenge for private organizations. However, by implementing effective strategies to improve organizational performance, productivity, and overall success, it is possible to retain employees with high potential. This study conducts an in-depth analysis of employee turnover, identifies contributing factors, recognizes patterns and trends, and provides practical and evidence-based recommendations to help private companies reduce employee turnover and improve their employee retention strategies. The researcher used Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) Smart PLS 4.0, to analyze data on the factors associated with employee turnover. The study's findings may have significant effects on organisational culture by generating more stable and engaged employees. The study suggests that organizational culture, job satisfaction, and retention significantly impact company turnover. This research underscores the importance of understanding and addressing employee turnover in private or state companies to enhance long-term sustainability and competitiveness.

Abstract

One of the efforts to strengthen the role of women in the family context to improve overall family health and welfare is the Increasing the Role of Women towards a Healthy and Prosperous Family program. After one year, an analysis was carried out to find out what factors affect the effectiveness of this program. Specifically examine the influence of participation factors in programs, education, training, access to resources, culture and norms on increasing the role of women in the family and further on family welfare. Also culture and norms as moderator variables for the influence between changes in roles in the family on family well-being. Respondents were program participants, and were immediately interviewed for filling out questionnaires, which were processed with PLS Smart4 Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) statistics. The findings of this study are that participation factors in programs, education, training, access to resources to change the role of women in the family play a role in the effectiveness of family welfare programs. Culture and norms proved to be moderator variables for the influence of changing roles in the family on family well-being. Meanwhile, culture and norms are not moderator variables for the influence of participant participation in programs and training education held on participants' access to resources. With this, it can be understood what factors need to be done to be fostered and improved, so as to accelerate the success process of the program to increase the role of women towards a healthy and prosperous family in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: Banjir merupakan bencana yang hampir setiap tahun melanda wilayah Jakarta, khususnya di kawasan Pejaten Timur, Jakarta Selatan. Kondisi topografi rendah, kepadatan penduduk, serta keterbatasan infrastruktur drainase membuat masyarakat rentan terhadap dampak banjir. Permasalahan utama adalah kerusakan dokumen penting dan rendahnya keterampilan mitigasi bencana. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan warga melalui pelatihan penyelamatan dokumen serta pemanfaatan teknologi digital. Metode: Metode pelaksanaan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan teknis, simulasi, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan, dan evaluasi. Hasil: Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dari nilai rata-rata pre-test 61,96 menjadi 86,40 pada post-test dengan N-Gain sebesar 0,64 (kategori sedang–tinggi). Hal ini menandakan adanya peningkatan keterampilan masyarakat dalam menyelamatkan dokumen serta kesadaran kolektif menghadapi banjir. Kesimpulan: Program ini memberi dampak sosial berupa penguatan solidaritas dan dampak ekonomi berupa pengurangan kerugian akibat kehilangan dokumen.
