Abstract

In this era of globalization, every business activity develops for the better which results in increasingly fierce competition in the business world for the company itself. A good company at least has good performance and can also provide solutions to problems that may be encountered in the future. Managers must be able to translate the vision and mission into concrete steps so that they can be implemented. In business, it is very important for this company to continue to maintain maximum company performance. The importance of company performance because company performance can be seen from the company's ability to achieve its goals by utilizing resources efficiently and effectively. By measuring the performance of the company, then of course you can find out how far the level of achievement of the company's goals goes. To improve company performance it is very important to know how internal control is running, who is involved in the budgeting process and whether there is transparency to improve company performance and achieve its vision and mission. The population in this study were all employees who worked at 41 Honda motorcycle companies in Medan City. Sampling using purposive sampling method and the test tool used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study prove that internal control, the budgeting process has a positive and significant effect on company performance. Transparency negative and significant effect on company performance. Organizational characteristics are able to moderate the effect of internal control on company performance. Organizational characteristics are unable to moderate the effect of the budgeting process and transparency on company performance.

Abstract

Purpose: This study examines how training, workload, and work experience affect the performance of Government Internal Oversight Apparatus (APIP) in the Riau Islands Province, with motivation as an intervening variable. The research seeks to determine both direct and indirect effects of these factors on performance outcomes. Research Methodology: The study surveyed 151 APIP employees across provincial and regency inspectorates. Data were collected using structured questionnaires with Likert scales and analyzed through Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using AMOS 24. Confirmatory Factor Analysis was applied to validate indicators before hypothesis testing. Results: The analysis reveals that training, workload, and work experience have significant direct impacts on APIP performance. Furthermore, motivation plays a mediating role, strengthening the relationship between these variables and performance. The findings highlight that a combination of structured training, manageable workloads, and accumulated experience contributes to improved oversight effectiveness. Conclusions: Structured training programs, effective workload distribution, and leveraging employee experience are essential strategies for improving APIP performance. Motivation emerges as a critical internal driver that enhances these relationships. Strengthening motivation through recognition, career development, and supportive policies can improve oversight accountability and service delivery. Limitations: The research is limited to APIP within the Riau Islands Province, reducing the generalizability of findings. The cross-sectional design captures data at one point in time, which may not reflect dynamic changes. External factors such as leadership style and organizational culture were not considered. Contribution: Research evidences training, workload, experience, motivation enhance government oversight.

Abstract

The changes that have taken place since the beginning of the 1998 reform have brought changes to national development, including the performance of the regional organization (OPD) with supervision as a moderating variable in the provincial Government of North Sumatra. Population of this research is the Budget User Authority, the Technical Activities Executive Officer, Financial administration officer across the regional working units. The sampling technique used is the saturated sampling technique. The number of OPD is The hypotheses were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM) method with the help of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of this study were the understanding of the regional financial accounting systems,regional property management, accountability influence the Regional Working Unit Performance simultaneously. Supervision has no positive effect and does not significantly moderate the influence of Regional Financial Management on Performance OPD the Provincial Government of North Sumatra

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the effect of education level, work experience and work environment on job satisfaction through work motivation as an intervening variable. The research method used is descriptive quantitative. Sampling using a survey method technique with the total population as a sample of 73 respondents. The data collection technique used an instrument in the form of a questionnaire to be analyzed. The instrument was calibrated using item validity and reliability coefficients using SEM-PLS analysis with the help of SmartPLS software. From the research results, it is known 1).education level has a significant effect on work motivation, 2).work experience directly has a significant effect on work motivation, 3).work environment directly has a significant effect on work motivation, 4).work motivation directly has a significant effect on job satisfaction, 5).level of education directly does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction, 6).work experience directly has a significant effect on job satisfaction, 7).work environment has a direct and insignificant effect on job satisfaction, 8).The level of education indirectly has a significant effect on job satisfaction through work motivation, 9).work experience indirectly has a significant effect on job satisfaction through work motivation, 10).The work environment indirectly has a significant effect on job satisfaction through work motivation.The coefficient of determination of the model of education level, work experience and work environment on job satisfaction is 0.462, meaning that job satisfaction can be influenced by education level, work experience and work environment by 46.2% and the remaining 53.8% is influenced by other variables outside research, while the model of education level, work experience and work environment on work motivation is 0.451, meaning that work motivation can be influenced by education level, work experience and work environment by 45.1% and the remaining 54.9% is influenced by other variables outside study.
