Abstract

Contextual learning is a learning approach that helps teachers connect what they teach to students' real-world situations and encourages students to make connections between their knowledge and its application in everyday life. This research aims to explore the application of the contextual learning model in the Aqidah Ahlak subject for students at MIN 1 and MIN 2 Nganjuk. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data was collected through observation, interviews and document analysis. The research results show that the application of the contextual learning model helps increase the understanding and application of moral values ​​among students. The implication of this research is the need to integrate contextual learning models in the teaching of Aqidah Ahlak subjects at MIN 1 and MIN 2 Nganjuk.

Abstract

Literasi merupakan aspek penting dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk di pesantren sebagai lembaga pendidikan tradisional yang telah melahirkan tokoh-tokoh literasi internasional. Seiring perkembangan teknologi, pesantren dituntut untuk beradaptasi dengan digitalisasi guna mempertahankan relevansi dan prinsip pendidikannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan praktik, dinamika, dan implikasi literasi santri berbasis digital di Lembaga Bahtsul Masail Al-Hikmah Purwoasri Kediri. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik analisis model alur (reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan), penelitian ini menemukan bahwa praktik literasi digital di pesantren ini melibatkan penggunaan perpustakaan digital seperti aplikasi maktabah syamilah versi PC maupun android, buku digital (pdf book), google books, situs terkait koleksi kitab, proyektor, dan perangkat digital lainnya. Perkembangan literasi digital berlangsung cepat, terlihat dari antusiasme santri dalam mengakses dan mengolah informasi digital sebagai bagian dari proses pembelajaran. Literasi digital terbukti menjadi strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan efisien dalam menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di era digital. Namun demikian, tantangan seperti keterbatasan infrastruktur, validitas aplikasi, dan minimnya pelatihan literasi digital masih perlu diatasi. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan fasilitas, pelatihan yang terstruktur, serta kolaborasi dengan pihak eksternal untuk mendukung penguatan literasi digital santri

Abstract

The use of appropriate learning methods is a key factor in the teaching and learning process. Success in mastering a range of competencies is a primary goal for students. Active learning, as a teaching method, can enhance the critical thinking skills of students, thereby facilitating a deeper understanding of the material being taught. This research employs a qualitative approach, using descriptive and case study methods, to generate in-depth descriptive data in the form of words or oral expressions from individuals, groups, or situations. The study draws conclusions based on three aspects: planning, implementation, and evaluation.First, planning is focused on a simplified syllabus. Second, in the implementation phase, lecturers employ active learning techniques, including active debates, direct instruction, and small group discussions. Third, evaluation/assessment conducted by lecturers encompasses cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in developing critical thinking and collaboration skills of fourth-grade students at MI Plus Al-Makmun Gemarang Madiun. The background of the study stems from the low level of active student involvement in conventional learning, which is still dominated by lecture methods. PBL was chosen because it provides a real-world problem-based learning experience that encourages thinking activities and social interaction. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The focus of the study was directed at the implementation of PBL syntax, including problem orientation, information exploration, group discussions, presentation of results, and reflection. The results showed that the implementation of PBL was able to improve students' critical thinking skills, as seen from their ability to identify problems, analyze data, put forward arguments, and determine solutions independently. In addition, collaboration skills developed through role allocation, open discussions, and mutual assistance activities in groups. The learning process became more meaningful, interactive, and suited to the characteristics of students. Overall, PBL has proven effective for science learning in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah because it not only strengthens cognitive aspects but also develops 21st-century skills, especially critical thinking, communication, and cooperation.
