Abstract

The development of Indonesian language textbooks is very important, especially textbooks that integrate local wisdom. Existing textbooks have not fully used local wisdom in their learning, especially in Indonesian language learning. This research aims to produce a product in the form of textbooks. The research method used is Thiagarajan's 4D research and development. The results showed that the textbook developed was suitable for use. The feasibility of the book products developed based on material assessment obtained 91.87 with very good criteria, media expert assessment obtained 91.35 with very good criteria, design expert assessment obtained 90 with very good criteria. Based on the acquisition of these validation results, it can be said that the textbook products developed are feasible and can be used in the field.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini menyajikan hasil analisis dari sepuluh artikel terkait kemampuan literasi membaca siswa sekolah dasar yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2019 hingga 2023. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan membaca siswa sekolah dasar masih menunjukkan kekurangan dalam kelancarannya. Faktor-faktor seperti kurangnya dukungan orang tua, minat membaca yang rendah, dan kurangnya strategi pengajaran yang efektif menjadi penyebab utama dari masalah ini. Regulasi pemerintah menekankan pentingnya pengembangan literasi dalam pendidikan dasar, menegaskan perlunya upaya bersama dari berbagai pihak untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca siswa. Implikasi dari penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya peran orang tua dan pendidik dalam membangun minat membaca yang tinggi, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung, dan mengadopsi strategi pengajaran yang inovatif untuk memastikan bahwa siswa dapat memperoleh kemampuan literasi yang komprehensif. Abstrac This research presents the results of an analysis of ten articles related to elementary school students' reading literacy skills published between 2019 and 2023. The findings indicate that elementary school students' reading abilities still show deficiencies in fluency. Factors such as lack of parental support, low reading interest, and ineffective teaching strategies are major contributors to this issue. Government regulations emphasize the importance of literacy development in primary education, underscoring the need for collaborative efforts from various stakeholders to enhance students' reading abilities. The implications of this research highlight the crucial roles of parents and educators in fostering high reading interest, creating supportive learning environments, and adopting innovative teaching strategies to ensure that students can acquire comprehensive literacy skills.
