In society, excessive use of drugs often occurs without a doctor's prescription and does not comply with the indications, dosage, technique, and duration of use, all of which can have a negative impact on health. Health cadres play an important role in inviting the community to come to health services, supporting medical personnel at integrated health posts, and helping the community access health information. This activity aims to improve cadres' knowledge and skills regarding drug use as well as skills in conveying information to the community. Implementation activities consist of several stages, namely: 1) Preparation, 2) Planning, and 3) Activities, Monitoring and Evaluation. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in cadres' knowledge and skills regarding drug use as well as skills in conveying information in the community. Abstract

Elderly people often experience sleep disorders which impact their quality of life. One non-pharmacological intervention that can be used is warm water foot soak therapy and warm salt water foot soak therapy. However, the effectiveness of these two methods still needs to be studied further. This study aims to compare the effectiveness of warm water foot soaks and warm salt water foot soaks in improving the sleep quality of the elderly. This research uses a Qusi experimental design with a pretest-posttest design. The research sample involved 30 elderly people. Respondents consisted of elderly people who met the inclusion criteria and were divided into two intervention groups. Data were collected using the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) questionnaire and analyzed using the t-test and MANOVA test. The results showed that there was an improvement in sleep quality in both groups after the intervention, with a significant difference between the warm water foot soak group and the warm salt water foot soak group (p < 0.05). The warm water foot soak group showed better improvement in sleep quality compared to the warm salt water foot soak group. Warm water foot soaks are more effective in improving the sleep quality of the elderly compared to warm salt water foot soaks. This intervention can be recommended as a non-pharmacological strategy to treat sleep disorders in the elderly.
