<![CDATA[AbstrakDidalam dunia pendidikan, kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa perlu dikembangkan agar dapat bersaing didunia kerja dimasa depan. Saat ini penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka dapat dilakukan melalui pembelajaran proyek. Salah satu bentuk proyek yang dapat dilakukan oleh siswa khususnya dari Jurusan IPA adalah pembuatan Aquascape. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah memberikan edukasi terkait konsep eksosistem melalui pembuatan aquascape sederhana. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Tarakan, dan diikuti oleh siswa-siswi kelas 2 Jurusan IPA sebanayk 40 siswa pada bulan Agustus Tahun 2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan pelatihan melalui praktek langsung dalam membuat aquascape mulai dari merancang konsep, menyiapkan alat bahan, penataan aquascape dan pemeliharaan. Melalui kegiatan ini siswa telah mampu membuat aquascape sederhana dengan konsep ekosistem bawah air yang terdiri dari organisme ikan dan tumbuhan yang hidup bersama dan komponen abiotiknya berupa air, tanah dan bebatuan. Currently, the implementation of the Independent Curriculum can be done through project learning. One form of project that can be done by students, especially from the Science Department, is making Aquascapes. The purpose of this activity is to provide education related to the concept of ecosystems through the creation of simple aquascapes. This community service activity was carried out at SMAN 1 Tarakan, and was attended by 40 students from class 2 of the Science Department in August 2024. The method used was socialization and training through direct practice in making aquascapes starting from designing concepts, preparing tools and materials, arranging aquascapes and maintenance. Through this activity, students have been able to create a simple aquascape with the concept of an underwater ecosystem consisting of fish and plant organisms that live together and the abiotic components are water, soil and rocks.
