Abstract

This research discusses the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Arabic language education and the transformation of Arabic meaning through AI. It also discusses the challenges and opportunities presented by AI in Arabic language education. Using the library research method, this study collects and analyzes various relevant literature sources to understand how AI can improve the Arabic language learning process. The results show that AI can improve the effectiveness of Arabic language learning by providing an interactive, diverse, and engaging platform, as well as providing quick and accurate responses to students. However, the research also found that there are some challenges presented by AI, such as the limited validity of information and the potential for cheating. The research also highlights the importance of accessibility of digital learning resources and interactive learning experiences that can motivate students in learning Arabic. Therefore, this study recommends that AI should be used effectively and responsibly in Arabic language education.

Abstract

مستخلص البحث يناقش هذا البحث مقاربة متعددة التخصصات لفهم الاضطرابات اللغوية لدى البالغين الناطقين باللغة العربية. ويتطلب ضعف اللغة لدى البالغين، والذي يمكن أن ينشأ عن عوامل عصبية أو نفسية أو اجتماعية، اتباع نهج شامل لفهم ومعالجة المشاكل التي تنشأ. تستخدم هذه الدراسة أسلوب مراجعة الأدبيات وجمع وتحليل الأبحاث السابقة حول الاضطرابات اللغوية لدى الناطقين باللغة العربية البالغين من مختلف التخصصات، بما في ذلك اللغويات وعلم الأعصاب وعلم النفس. وكان الهدف الرئيسي من هذه الدراسة هو توضيح أهمية دمج المناهج متعددة التخصصات في فهم تعقيدات الاضطرابات اللغوية وتقديم رؤى حول طرق التدخل الأكثر فعالية. تُظهر نتائج هذه الدراسة أن الجمع بين الرؤى من مختلف التخصصات يسمح بفهم أعمق للعوامل التي تؤثر على ضعف اللغة، فضلاً عن الأساليب العلاجية الأكثر ملاءمة للاحتياجات الفردية. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، تقدم هذه الدراسة توصيات للممارسين في تصميم برامج علاجية تأخذ بعين الاعتبار العوامل الثقافية واللغوية الخاصة بالناطقين باللغة العربية البالغين. ومن المتوقع أن تسهم هذه الدراسة في تطوير مناهج تدخل أكثر شمولية وفعالية في علاج الاضطرابات اللغوية.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the implementation of the mumarasah al-lughah program in improving the Arabic language skills of students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program (PBA) UIN Imam Bonjol Padang based on the classic management theory POAC (Planning, Organizing, Actuating, Controlling). The research used descriptive qualitative method, with the research subjects being PBA students of UIN Imam Bonjol Padang who participated in the mumarasah al-lughah program, the program committee, and other related parties totaling 30 people. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews and official program documentation. Data analysis uses an inductive analysis model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the mumarasah al-lughah program has been managed systematically according to the POAC principle (planning, organizing, implementing and supervising): program planning involves identifying student needs and preparing a curriculum based on communicative methods; organizing is done through the formation of an implementation team and division of tasks; program implementation includes routine Arabic language practice and guidance by experts; and supervision is carried out through periodic evaluation and continuous improvement. The implementation of POAC management is proven to contribute significantly in improving students' Arabic language skills, creating a conducive learning environment, and building students' confidence in communicating. The findings provide theoretical and practical contributions to the development of Arabic language learning programs in higher education, especially in the management of a POAC-based program.

Abstract

يهدف هذا البحث إلى تحليل فعالية استخدام وسائط الفيديو "Benime" في تحسين فهم المفردات لدى طلاب الصف السابع في المدرسة المتوسطة الإسلامية الحكومية الثانية في بادانغ (MTsN 2 Padang). وتستند خلفية هذا البحث إلى ضعف إتقان الطلاب لمفردات اللغة العربية، والذي يُعزى إلى استخدام طرق التدريس التقليدية غير الجاذبة. يعتمد هذا البحث على المنهج الكمي باستخدام التصميم التجريبي الشبه الكامل (quasi-experimental design)، حيث شمل مجموعتين: مجموعة تجريبية استخدمت وسائط الفيديو "Benime"، ومجموعة ضابطة استخدمت الطريقة التقليدية. تم جمع البيانات من خلال الملاحظة، والاختبار القبلي، والاختبار البعدي، وتم تحليلها باستخدام اختبار (t). أظهرت نتائج البحث أن طلاب المجموعة التجريبية أبدوا اهتمامًا ومشاركة وفهمًا أعلى للمفردات مقارنة بالمجموعة الضابطة. وقد بيّن اختبار (t) وجود فرق دال إحصائيًا بين نتائج الاختبار البعدي للمجموعتين، حيث كانت قيمة الدلالة 0.00 < 0.05، وقيمة (t) المحسوبة أكبر من قيمة (t) الجدولية. وتُثبت هذه النتائج أن وسائط الفيديو "Benime" فعالة في تحسين فهم مفردات اللغة العربية. لذلك، يُوصى باستخدام الوسائط السمعية البصرية التفاعلية مثل "Benime" كخيار ابتكاري بديل في تعليم اللغة العربية في مستوى المعاهد الإسلامية. كما يُسهم هذا البحث في إثراء الدراسات التطبيقية المتعلقة بتطوير الوسائط التعليمية المعتمدة على التكنولوجيا في البيئة التعليمية.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the muhadatsah program in improving students’ Arabic speaking skills at MTs Koto Tangah, focusing on activity forms, instructional methods, managerial aspects, and supporting and inhibiting factors. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana. The findings reveal that the muhadatsah program is regularly conducted outside formal Arabic lesson hours through various communicative activities such as paired dialogues, group discussions, role play, and short presentations. The program positively influences students’ speaking fluency, self-confidence, and frequency of Arabic use in daily interactions. However, several challenges remain, including weak language discipline, limited vocabulary, an underdeveloped Arabic language environment, and managerial constraints. Overall, the implementation of muhadatsah at MTs Koto Tangah aligns with the principles of Contextual Teaching and Learning and Communicative Language Teaching in developing students’ speaking skills.

Abstract

Arabic language learning at the junior high school level plays an important role in developing students’ foundational language competencies, particularly listening skills as the basis for speaking skills. However, instructional practices are still largely dominated by text-based methods, resulting in limited authentic oral exposure and causing students to experience difficulties in understanding spoken Arabic. This study aims to describe the implementation of Arabic-Listening Speaking media in teaching listening skills at SMP Muhammadiyah 06 Dau Malang, based on Stephen Krashen’s Second Language Acquisition Theory, specifically the Input Hypothesis and the Affective Filter Hypothesis. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the systematic use of audio media, interactive videos, and applications through the stages of pre-listening, whilst-listening, and post-listening provides authentic and contextual input in accordance with the i+1 principle. The media enhance vocabulary mastery, intonation, and sentence structure, while also fostering students’ motivation, participation, and self-confidence. Repetition, scaffolding, and collaborative strategies effectively address learning barriers, demonstrating that the media optimally support the improvement of listening skills. Keywords: Media Arabic-Listening Speaking, Listening Skills, Language Acquisition, Stephen Krashen ABSTRAK Pembelajaran bahasa Arab di tingkat tingkat sekolah menengah pertama memiliki peran penting dalam membangun kompetensi dasar berbahasa, khususnya keterampilan mendengar sebagai fondasi keterampilan berbicara. Namun, praktik pembelajaran masih didominasi metode tekstual sehingga paparan lisan autentik terbatas dan siswa mengalami kesulitan memahami bahasa Arab lisan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi media Arabic-Listening Speaking dalam pembelajaran keterampilan mendengar di SMP Muhammadiyah 06 Dau Malang berdasarkan teori pemerolehan bahasa kedua Stephen Krashen, khususnya Input Hypothesis dan Affective Filter Hypothesis. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, serta dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan model Miles, Huberman, dan Saldana melalui tahap reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media audio, video interaktif, dan aplikasi secara sistematis melalui tahap pre-listening, whilst-listening, dan post-listening mampu menyediakan input yang autentik, kontekstual, dan sesuai prinsip i+1. Media ini meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata, intonasi, dan struktur kalimat, serta mendorong motivasi, partisipasi, dan kepercayaan diri siswa. Strategi pengulangan, scaffolding, dan kolaborasi efektif mengatasi hambatan pembelajaran, sehingga media terbukti mendukung peningkatan keterampilan mendengar secara optimal.
