Abstract

Children are the forerunners of the generation that will become leaders in the future. Leaders are expected to be physically, mentally and spiritually capable. Seeing the increasingly rapid development of the times with the launch of various gadget brands, it is a challenge for society. Because children are made careless of this and forget the importance of studying religious knowledge, especially studying the al-Qur’an. In Pagaran Dolok Village, children are starting to get busy with their gadgets and are lazy about learning the al-Qur’an. With the program offered by the writing team, through the service method of providing teaching through lectures and discussions, it is hoped that it can help children become more proficient and better at reading the al-Qur’an. This program provides significant changes, although slowly, it can be felt by the author himself in particular and children who study in general. Children are starting to get used to the correct pronounciation of letters and know the rules for reciting the verses they read.

Abstract

This study aims to philosophically examine the crisis of rationality and the challenges of social emancipation in the digital society through a dialectical approach between neomodernism and postmodernism. Against the backdrop of the growing dominance of instrumental rationality in digital ecosystems which marginalizes ethical, reflective, and participatory dimensions this study explores two major schools of contemporary social philosophy. Neomodernism, through Jürgen Habermas' theory of communicative rationality, emphasizes rational discourse and consensus as the basis for a just social order. In contrast, postmodernism, as represented by Michel Foucault and Jean-François Lyotard, rejects universalist claims and deconstructs the role of power in the production of truth and representation. Employing a qualitative-philosophical method and philosophical discourse analysis, this research engages with primary texts from key thinkers as well as secondary literature on algorithmic technology, digital democracy, and global structural inequalities. The findings reveal that while normative neomodernist and postmodern deconstructive approaches are each insightful, neither alone is sufficient to address the complexity of contemporary crises. Accordingly, the study proposes a dialectical synthesis: a model of dialogical-pluralistic emancipation that integrates communicative ethics with the recognition of narrative particularity to form a more reflective, contextual, and transformative mode of social critique.

Abstract

The concept of karamah insaniyah (human glory) is one of the main principles in the teachings of the Qur'an. Humans are honored by Allah with privileges that are not given to other creatures. This research examines the concept of karamah insaniyah in Surah Al-Isra’ (17): 80 and its relevance to contemporary life. Karamah insaniyah refers to the honor and glory given by Allah to human beings, distinguishing them from other creatures with various privileges, including reason, conscience, and moral ability. In the surah, Allah asserts that humans, regardless of race, nation or social status, are ennobled with basic rights that must be safeguarded, such as the right to life, the right to property, the right to procreate, the right to healthy thinking and the right to belief. This study aims to identify the meaning of the concept of karamah insaniyah in the Qur'anic perspective and analyze its relevance to the challenges of modern life, especially in fighting for human rights and gender equality. A descriptive-analytical qualitative approach is used to analyze Qur'anic texts and related literature, with the results showing that the principle of karamah insaniyah has broad implications in building a just society and respecting diversity, in line with the demands of the times that prioritize social justice and the protection of human rights. Karamah insaniyah provides a broad example in contemporary times, such as the behavior of a human being who remains istiqomah in doing good, as much as possible not violating the rules he acknowledges
