Planning, with a coefficient of 0.183 and a t-value of 2.672, shows a significant impact on service quality. Procurement of medicines, though categorized as "Adequate," has a coefficient of 0.157 with a t-value of 1.814, which is also significant. Receipt of medicines is the most dominant variable with a coefficient of 0.636 and a t-value of 7.532, indicating a very significant impact. Storage of medicines also significantly affects service quality, with a coefficient of 0.291 and a t-value of 7.532. The study highlights the importance of effective management at each stage of pharmaceutical management to improve service quality in hospitals, particularly in the aspects of receipt and storage of medicines.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of procurement and budgeting and distribution on drug availability at the Pharmacy Installation of the Manokwari Regency Health Office, West Papua Province. The research method used is a quantitative approach. The data analysis used is descriptive analysis and verification analysis using multiple regression analysis. Descriptive methods focus on describing and analyzing the results of research and verification methods are used to test the relationship between variables. The sample consisted of 77 employees who were taken using saturated sampling technique. The results of descriptive analysis show that in the variables of procurement, budgeting, and distribution of drugs are in the category of enough towards good and good towards very good, there are still some shortcomings that must be considered for improvement. Statistically, the results of verification tests with multiple regression analysis models show that the drug procurement variable has a significant effect on drug availability with a coefficient value of 0.409 and a p-value of 0.000. Drug budgeting also has a significant effect with a coefficient value of 0.021 and a p-value of 0.003. Distribution showed a significant effect on drug availability with a coefficient value of 0.794 and a p-value of 0.000. The results of this study indicate that improvements in these three aspects can significantly increase the availability of drugs in the Pharmaceutical Installation.

Abstract

In the era of globalisation, the use of gadgets has increased rapidly, including among children, bringing both positive and negative impacts. In children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), gadgets trigger aggression, reduce focus, and lead to repetitive behaviours, stimming, and babbling, making them a challenge for therapists. This study aims to analyse therapists' stress management in handling children with ASD who are exposed to gadgets. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with four informants through interviews, observations, and documentation, the data were analysed using NVivo 12. The results show that therapists manage stress through relaxation, emotional release, and mindfulness, which are generally effective in preventing burnout, although there are differences in satisfaction among the informants.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of dentists’ skills, communication, and supporting equipment on waiting time and their implications for patient satisfaction at Kajen Regional General Hospital (RSUD Kajen) in Pekalongan. The research was motivated by long waiting times and limited facilities. A quantitative associative approach was used, with data collected through questionnaires from 286 patients receiving conservative dental care. Data analysis included validity, reliability, multiple regression, and Sobel tests to examine both direct and indirect relationships among variables. The results showed that skills, communication, and supporting equipment significantly influenced waiting time and patient satisfaction, both directly and indirectly. Waiting time was found to mediate these effects. Communication was identified as the most dominant factor affecting patient satisfaction, while supporting equipment played a key role in speeding up treatment and reducing waiting time. Improving dental service efficiency at RSUD Kajen can be achieved by enhancing dentists’ skills and communication, and optimizing modern supporting equipment. These efforts are expected to increase patient satisfaction and support continuous improvement in hospital service quality.
