Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepala sekolah, kendala yang dihadapi, serta strategi yang efektif dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SDN 2 Sendangmulyo. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, siswa, dan orang tua. Analisis data dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepala sekolah berperan sebagai pemimpin transformasional dengan fokus pada pengembangan kompetensi guru, peningkatan fasilitas, dan penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka. Kendala utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan sumber daya, rendahnya motivasi siswa, dan minimnya partisipasi orang tua. Strategi efektif yang diterapkan meliputi pelatihan guru berkelanjutan, pengadaan sarana belajar yang memadai, serta pelibatan masyarakat dan orang tua dalam program sekolah. Penelitian ini menyarankan penguatan dukungan teknologi pendidikan dan kolaborasi yang lebih intensif antara sekolah dengan pihak eksternal untuk mendukung keberlanjutan mutu pendidikan.

Abstract

This study explores the management practices at SMK Migas Cepu as a Vocational School Center of Excellence (SMK-PK), focusing on the four key management functions: planning, organizing, implementing, and controlling. The research highlights the role of participatory planning, which involves collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, including industry partners, in developing the curriculum and other educational strategies. Organizing at SMK Migas Cepu follows a systematic approach, with clear divisions of responsibilities and coordination among teachers, staff, and industry partners. The implementation of the SMK-PK program includes project-based learning, industrial internships, guest lectures from industry professionals, and certifications, all aimed at aligning the curriculum with industry needs and improving the employability of students. The controlling function ensures quality management through regular monitoring and evaluation of processes. The findings suggest that the school’s effective management practices have significantly contributed to its success as an SMK-PK, although challenges remain in areas such as data-driven monitoring, continuous teacher training, and optimizing partnerships with industry. The study concludes with recommendations to further enhance the program’s sustainability and improve the competitiveness of its graduates

Abstract

Educational planning plays a strategic role in guiding the success of policy implementation at the school level. This study aims to evaluate the planning and implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Senior High Schools in Semarang City using the CIPP evaluation model (Context, Input, Process, Product). A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings show that in the context aspect, schools demonstrate strong support for the new curriculum, although challenges remain in terms of understanding and infrastructure. In the input aspect, teachers were actively involved in curriculum development, yet training and technical assistance remain suboptimal. The process aspect reveals collaborative efforts among teachers, but the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile projects and authentic assessment still face several obstacles. Meanwhile, in terms of product, teacher creativity and student participation have improved, although a comprehensive evaluation instrument for holistic learning outcomes is still lacking. These findings underscore the need to strengthen teacher training, reduce administrative burdens, and develop adaptive evaluation tools for future curriculum implementation.

Abstract

This study examines the strategy of formulating and implementing data-based planning through the School Development Plan (RKS), Annual Work Plan (RKT), and School Budget Plan (RKAS) at SMK Hidayatul Mubtadi’in Bulusari. Using a qualitative descriptive method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that utilizing the Education Report Card (Rapor Pendidikan) helps the school identify urgent issues, design targeted programs, and allocate resources efficiently. Involving stakeholders such as the principal, teachers, treasurer, and school committee fosters collaboration and strengthens ownership of school programs. Data-based planning enhances transparency and accountability in budget and program implementation. However, challenges include low data literacy, limited IT infrastructure, and inconsistent monitoring practices. The study recommends improving data literacy through training, enhancing technological infrastructure, and developing integrated digital systems to support effective and sustainable planning.

Abstract

Guru merupakan faktor utama penentu keberhasilan proses pembelajaran. Kualitas pendidikan sangat bergantung pada sejauh mana guru memiliki kompetensi, profesionalisme, dan pengembangan karier yang berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan sinergis antara kompetensi, profesionalisme, dan pengembangan karier guru terhadap peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan jenis kajian pustaka (library research) yang bersumber dari berbagai literatur ilmiah nasional maupun internasional. Hasil kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi menyediakan dasar pengetahuan dan keterampilan bagi guru untuk melaksanakan tugasnya secara efektif; profesionalisme menjadi landasan etika, integritas, dan refleksi dalam penerapan kompetensi; sedangkan pengembangan karier memberikan arah dan motivasi bagi guru untuk terus memperbarui diri sesuai tuntutan zaman. Sinergi ketiga aspek tersebut terbukti meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran melalui penguatan inovasi pedagogik, peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa, serta terbentuknya budaya reflektif di sekolah.
