Abstract

Small group discussion is a learning method that is carried out by students and consists of between 4 to 6 people so as to form small groups to achieve more effective learning goals. The application of this learning method was researched in order to increase student enthusiasm, especially in learning activities in civics subjects. The method used in this study is the library research method, namely by collecting data sourced from books, journals, and internet sites. The results of this study are as follows: how to form the right discussion groups and the benefits obtained in implementing small group discussions so as to increase students' interest in civics subjects.

Abstract

Kasus tindak asusila yang melibatkan anak berhadapan dengan hukum tidak hanya berdampak pada aspek yuridis, tetapi juga menimbulkan konsekuensi psikologis yang mendalam. Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji trauma psikologis anak binaan akibat pengkhianatan dalam relasi pacaran serta respons keluarga pasangan pada kasus asusila di LPKA Kelas I Medan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus terhadap seorang remaja laki-laki berusia 18 tahun (inisial Ahmad) yang menjalani pembinaan akibat kasus asusila dalam hubungan pacaran jangka panjang. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam dan proses konseling selama masa pembinaan. Hasil kajian menunjukkan konseli mengalami tekanan psikologis berat berupa syok, kecemasan, rasa malu, gangguan tidur, perasaan dikhianati, serta ketakutan akan masa depan. Kondisi ini diperparah oleh respons keluarga pasangan yang langsung menempuh jalur hukum. Trauma yang dialami berkaitan erat dengan latar belakang kurangnya kasih sayang, pengabaian peran orang tua, serta pengalaman kekerasan dalam rumah tangga, yang membentuk trauma kompleks sejak dini dan memengaruhi konsep diri, stabilitas emosi, serta pola relasi interpersonal. Meski demikian, proses pembinaan dan konseling di LPKA menunjukkan perubahan positif. Konseli mulai memaknai pengalaman traumatis sebagai pembelajaran, meningkatkan religiusitas, dan mengembangkan mekanisme koping adaptif. Artikel ini menegaskan pentingnya penanganan trauma anak binaan secara komprehensif, empatik, dan berkelanjutan melalui pendekatan psikososial, keluarga, dan spiritual guna mendukung pemulihan dan reintegrasi sosial.
