Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the benefits, challenges and strategies for implementing game-based learning at the Akademi Keuangan Perbankan (AKUBANK). The research method uses a qualitative approach which includes data collection through interviews and observation of AKUBANK lecturers and students. The research participants consisted of lecturers and first semester students of introductory accounting courses. The results of this study indicate that game-based learning has significant benefits in the context of higher education at AKUBANK. The introduction of games into the learning process can increase student motivation and participation, facilitate understanding of academic concepts, encourage creativity and critical thinking, and increase social interaction and cooperation among students. However, this study also identified challenges in implementing game-based learning at AKUBANK, including designing and developing effective game content, the need for adequate technical resources, monitoring student progress, as well as training and support needed to integrate game-based lectures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendokumentasikan dan menjelaskan perencanaan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta (MTsS) Nurul Ulum Peureulak, sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang berkomitmen pada pengembangan potensi siswa secara holistik, mencakup aspek akademis dan moral. Perencanaan SDM, khususnya tenaga pendidik, memegang peran krusial dalam menentukan kualitas pendidikan yang diselenggarakan oleh lembaga tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menggambarkan langkah-langkah dan prinsip-prinsip dasar yang menjadi landasan perencanaan tenaga pendidik di MTsS Nurul Ulum Peureulak. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pihak terkait, tinjauan dokumen, serta observasi langsung terhadap proses perencanaan yang dilakukan oleh lembaga. Analisis data bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi kebijakan, strategi, dan prosedur yang digunakan dalam pengelolaan SDM di lembaga pendidikan ini. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MTsS Nurul Ulum Peureulak mengimplementasikan pendekatan holistik dalam perencanaan tenaga pendidik. Perencanaan ini mempertimbangkan tidak hanya aspek keahlian akademis, tetapi juga nilai-nilai keislaman, etika profesi, dan kemampuan interpersonal. Proses perencanaan ini diarahkan untuk memastikan bahwa jumlah dan kualitas tenaga pendidik sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan mendukung visi serta misi lembaga.

Abstract

Curriculum management is a crucial aspect in determining the direction and quality of education in an institution. The quality of Islamic education is reflected in the success of the institution in producing graduates who are in accordance with the goals that have been set. This study aims to describe curriculum management in improving the quality of Islamic education in SMA Plus Nurul Ulum. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis uses the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The results of the study indicate that curriculum management in SMA Plus Nurul Ulum is implemented through three main stages. First, curriculum planning is carried out through a core team meeting involving the principal, vice principal, teachers, and supervisors, to compile and socialize learning tools. Second, curriculum implementation is carried out through checking teacher readiness, evaluating performance every three months, instilling Islamic values, and training through In House Training (IHT). Third, curriculum evaluation includes allocating special time to evaluate learning tools and teacher performance. Overall, curriculum management in SMA Plus Nurul Ulum has been carried out systematically and has contributed significantly to improving the quality of Islamic education.
