Abstract

The purpose of development research is to produce learning media using Macromedia Flash software on the material of Straight-Line Equations for SMP/MTs class VIII students. The development model used is ADDIE which has been modified, namely Analysis, Design and Development. The research subjects were students of MTs A – Jihad Medan class VIII using a small class scale of 10 people. The feasibility of learning media on the results of media assessment by experts on the developed learning media. Mathematics learning media using Macromedia Flash on the Straight-Line Equation material that was developed meets the criteria suitable for use for SMP / MTs class VIII students. The results of the material assessment by experts obtained 0.85 with a percentage of 85% and the criteria "Very Valid". The results of the material assessment by experts obtained 0.84 with a percentage of 84% and the criteria "Very Valid". The results of practicality with limited trials with students getting 0.87 with a percentage of 87% and the criteria of "Very Practical" so that the learning media is feasible and practical to use for learning SMP/MTs students

Abstract

Indonesian as the national language has so far experienced very rapid development so that it is in great demand from other countries. This development has made Indonesian ready to become an international communication tool. In order to become an international language, it is necessary to introduce Indonesian with interesting learning. Interesting learning by designing innovative teaching materials. Teaching materials for listening, reading, writing and speaking language skills for level A1. In addition, BIPA teaching materials take advantage of existing cultures in Indonesia by introducing Indonesian characteristics to foreign speakers in the hope that this will attract them to learn Indonesian. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. By describing teaching materials for Indonesian language skills, it will increase learning knowledge for BIPA teachers.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dengan pembelajaran interaktif melalui aplikasi quizizz. Penelitian ini tergolong kedalam jenis penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus penelitian. Pada tiap-tiap siklus penelitian terdapat empat tahapan yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yakni siswa SMA Negeri 13 Medan tepatnya kelas X-1 dengan jumlah siswa 35 peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode tes, wawancara, dan observasi dengan instrument penelitian berupa tes hasil belajar PPKn siswa. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan aplikasi Quizizz dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan. Pada siklus I, terjadi sedikit peningkatan hasil belajar, dengan 21 siswa mencapai KKM (Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal) dan 15 siswa belum berhasil mencapainya. Nilai tertinggi pada siklus I adalah 85 dan nilai terendah adalah 60. Di siklus II, tidak ada siswa yang mendapatkan nilai di bawah KKM, dengan nilai terendah 75 (sesuai dengan KKM untuk pelajaran PPKn) dan nilai tertinggi 90. Seluruh siswa berhasil mencapai KKM pada siklus II, dan 35 siswa menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan Quizizz lebih seru dibandingkan pembelajaran di hari lainnya, menunjukkan bahwa Quizizz mendapat feedback positif dari siswa.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the extent to which the environment influences an individual's language skills, particularly in Indonesian. The method applied is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). Data were collected by documenting all articles with similar research. Six articles from Google Scholar were used as sources in this study. The results show that the environment plays a primary role in the development of children's language, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. Additionally, the roles of teachers and parents are also crucial in enhancing children's language abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of this study to determine the benefits, challenges and strategies for implementing game-based learning at the Akademi Keuangan Perbankan (AKUBANK). The research method uses a qualitative approach which includes data collection through interviews and observation of AKUBANK lecturers and students. The research participants consisted of lecturers and first semester students of introductory accounting courses. The results of this study indicate that game-based learning has significant benefits in the context of higher education at AKUBANK. The introduction of games into the learning process can increase student motivation and participation, facilitate understanding of academic concepts, encourage creativity and critical thinking, and increase social interaction and cooperation among students. However, this study also identified challenges in implementing game-based learning at AKUBANK, including designing and developing effective game content, the need for adequate technical resources, monitoring student progress, as well as training and support needed to integrate game-based lectures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendokumentasikan dan menjelaskan sistem Evaluasi Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta (MTsS) Baitul Arqam, sebuah lembaga pendidikan yang berkomitmen pada pengembangan potensi siswa secara holistik, mencakup aspek akademis dan moral. Sistem evaluasi tenaga pendidik di MTsS Baitul Arqam memegang peran kunci dalam menentukan kualitas pendidikan yang diberikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif untuk menguraikan langkah-langkah dan prinsip-prinsip yang mendasari sistem evaluasi tenaga pendidik di lembaga tersebut. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dengan pihak terkait, tinjauan dokumen, dan observasi langsung terhadap proses evaluasi yang berlangsung. Analisis data dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kebijakan, strategi, dan prosedur yang digunakan dalam pengelolaan sumber daya manusia di MTsS Baitul Arqam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MTsS Baitul Arqam menerapkan pendekatan holistik dalam evaluasi tenaga pendidiknya. Evaluasi ini tidak hanya menilai aspek keahlian akademis, tetapi juga mempertimbangkan nilai-nilai keislaman, etika profesi, dan kemampuan interpersonal. Proses evaluasi tersebut diarahkan untuk memastikan bahwa setiap tenaga pendidik dapat meningkatkan kapasitas dan kualitas mereka dalam mendukung visi dan misi lembaga.

Abstract

Kecerdasan emosional merupakan aspek penting dalam perkembangan peserta didik, karena berperan besar dalam membentuk sikap, perilaku, serta kemampuan mereka dalam menghadapi berbagai situasi sosial dan akademik. Ketika peserta didik menunjukkan tingkat kecerdasan emosional yang rendah, maka peran pendidik Bimbingan dan Konseling menjadi sangat vital. Sebagai tenaga profesional yang bertugas membantu siswa mengatasi berbagai permasalahan pribadi, sosial, dan belajar, guru BK memanfaatkan berbagai pendekatan dan layanan yang telah diatur dalam kebijakan pendidikan nasional. Melalui berbagai layanan, seperti layanan konseling individu, konseling kelompok, serta layanan informasi dan konsultasi, guru BK berusaha menciptakan ruang yang kondusif bagi peserta didik untuk mengenali, memahami, dan mengelola emosi mereka secara positif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang diterapkan oleh guru BK dalam upaya mengembangkan kecerdasan emosional siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Swasta Baitul Arqam. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap kegiatan BK yang berlangsung di madrasah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang dilaksanakan telah sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa. Guru BK secara aktif memberikan pendampingan yang bersifat preventif maupun kuratif, sehingga mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan kecerdasan emosional peserta didik, khususnya di kelas VIII.

Abstract

Background: Ischemic stroke remains a leading cause of death and disability worldwide, with increasing incidence each year. Patients with comorbidities, such as Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM), pose additional treatment challenges due to a higher risk of drug-related problems (DRPs), particularly drug interactions. Objective: This study aims to describe pharmaceutical care in female patients diagnosed with ischemic stroke and Type 2 DM, with a focus on identifying and evaluating DRPs. Method: A descriptive case study was conducted. Data were collected through medical records and patient monitoring, focusing on the identification and analysis of potential DRPs in the context of pharmaceutical care. Results: The study found drug interactions as the most prominent DRP. An interaction between potassium slow-release (KSR) and candesartan was identified as requiring monitoring. Additionally, moderate interactions were found between atorvastatin and clopidogrel, as well as atorvastatin and amlodipine. These interactions have the potential to influence therapeutic outcomes. Conclusion: The prescribed medication regimen was generally appropriate for the patient's condition. Nevertheless, the presence of DRPs highlights the importance of regular monitoring and dose adjustments. Optimizing pharmaceutical care through early detection and management of DRPs is essential to ensure treatment safety and effectiveness in patients with complex conditions.

Abstract

The background of this research stems from the issue of low student academic achievement, which is primarily caused by a teacher-centered learning approach. This condition results in students being less actively engaged and unable to independently comprehend the subject matter. To address this issue, the study aims to describe efforts to improve IPAS learning outcomes through the implementation of the Discovery Learning model integrated with the TPACK framework for fifth-grade students at SDN 24 Parupuk Tabing in Padang City. The method employed is Classroom Action Research (CAR), using a combination of qualitative and quantitative approaches conducted in two cycles. Each cycle includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research involved 20 students and one teacher, with data collected through both tests and observations. The findings show significant improvements: the quality of instructional modules increased from 90,625% to 96,87%, teacher performance improved from 89,06% to 96,87%, student engagement rose from 89,06% to 96,87%, and the average student score increased from 81,41 to 90,5 In conclusion, the Discovery Learning model based on the TPACK approach is proven to effectively enhance students' learning outcomes in IPAS.
