Abstract

Tourism is a recreational activity carried out with the intention of breaking away from the daily routine for a while. The tourist village is a combination of natural attractions, culture and creativity of the local community, supported by facilities that can attract tourists to visit the place. Prabu Village is one of the tourist destinations in Pujut District, Central Lombok. Even though it has advantages in natural beauty, unfortunately Prabu Village is still lacking in management and public awareness of the importance of existing tourism potential. Therefore, Unram Thematic KKN participants carried out community service in Prabu village with the theme 'Tourism and the Environment'. The purpose of this service is to introduce the tourism potentials in Prabu Village to the wider community. One of the programs carried out was by making a promotional video for Prabu Village which explained all the potential that the village had. Videos that have been made are then published on various social media (Youtube, Instagram, etc.), websites, and video platforms. With an effective promotional video, Prabu Tourism Village is expected to become an attractive tourist destination for both local and international tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) of grade XI students at MA Putri Hikmatussyarief NWDI Salut Narmada on the topic of the human digestive system. This research employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 30 students from 93 students class XI IPA selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through pretest and posttest HOTS-based written tests and student activity observation sheets during the learning process. Data analysis was conducted using N-Gain calculations with Microsoft Excel. The results showed that the average posttest score was 86, with an N-Gain score of 0.704, categorized as high. A total of 63.3% of students showed high improvement in HOTS, 30% moderate, and 6.7% low. These findings result indicate that the PjBL model is effective in enhancing students’ higher order thinking skills in biology learning. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas model Project-based Learning (PjBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi (Higher Order Thinking Skills/HOTS) siswa kelas XI MA Putri Hikmatussyarief NWDI Salut Narmada pada materi sistem pencernaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian melibatkan 30 siswa dari 93 siswa kelas XI IPA yang dipilih melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui tes pretest dan posttest berupa soal berbasis HOTS, serta lembar observasi aktivitas siswa selama pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menghitung nilai N-Gain menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata nilai posttest siswa adalah 86 dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar 0,704 yang termasuk dalam kategori tinggi. Sebanyak 63,3% siswa mengalami peningkatan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dalam kategori tinggi, 30% sedang, dan 6,7% rendah. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model PjBL efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa pada pembelajaran Biologi.
