Abstract

The manufacturing sector is currently competing against each other to always get market share. In achieving the vision and mission, the company must use one’s strength to increase production and product quality. PT. X is a manufacturing company that manufactures piano musical instruments that continually do improve to increase quality to meet customer needs. This research used the Six Sigma and FMEA methods to minimize defects that occur. The results of calculations obtained Upright Piano (UP) PM / PW which has the highest reject value. The average value of DPMO for 8 months was 16294.57, and the sigma value was 3.62. The results of identifying the type of defect that is often the cause of reject cabinet using a Pareto diagram is the muke permukaan with a percentage of 24.03%. The dominant cause of the defect occurs because during the sanding process the position of the Ategi is tilted when at the edge and the operator's ability is not evenly distributed. Improvement that can be given during the sanding process Ategi’s position tilted when at the edge of the position Ategi must be flat when at the edge of the cabinet and the balance when making the sanding process must be maintained properly. Improvement for the ability of operators that have not been evenly distributed, namely conducting training on basic skills to all operators who have worked for a long time, implementing the OJT (On the Job Training) program during probation, and sharing knowledge.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the efforts to improve students' listening skills through the media of children's fairytales recording at grade IV of SDN Banget 2, Kelurahan Kwadungan, Kabupaten Ngawi in the academic year of 2021/2022. The method used in this study was classroom action research. The results showed that appropriate andrelevant learning media increased students' understanding of the materials because students were directly involved in the learning process. By directly experiencing the learning process, students quickly understood the concept of learning materials. After applying recording media for children's fairy tales, the students' listening ability increased. It was proved by the increase in students' learning achievement through the evaluation, showing that the average score in the pre-cycle was 62.5, and it increased to 70 in the first cycle and 82 in the second cycle. This study suggested that as a key instrument of educational success, teachers should continually improve their pedagogical competence through several KKG activities, educational workshops or seminars, and training. Meanwhile, students must often practice listening to a story or a children's fairytale to comprehend the materials better.

Abstract

Many SMEs struggle when it comes to supplier selection due to the large number of criteria available. Because SMEs lack sufficient human resources and sufficient time, they cannot use complex supplier selection criteria and calculations. This research aims to create an efficient and straightforward supplier selection model. At the commencement, a literature review of 46 articles (2021-2022) generates 15 key suppliers selection criteria. The 80/20 Pareto principles state that delivery, price, quality, and service are the four main criteria. The Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process is used to calculate the weighting of each criterion. According to the preferences of ten experts, the weights for price, delivery, quality, and service are 40%, 30%, 25% and 5% respectively. Ten supplier selection cases from literature are used to validate the process. This means that a simple model using the Fuzzy AHP approach will produce supplier rankings of identical supplier types which is 80% similar to the complex model of multi-criteria. This study contributes theoretically to the MCDM literature through a demonstration that reduced-criteria models can retain decision quality while increasing applicability. The model enables SMEs to easily make a reliable supplier selection choice.
