Abstract

The implementation of this mentoring aims to provide education to parents as guardians of students at Kindergarten Pertiwi 1, Joho Pace District, Nganjuk Regency. The assisted activities provided include, (1) compiling booklets as a guide media in assisting children to study at home, (2) holding educational seminars and periodic visits for observation. The results of this dedication show that the process of online learning activities due to the Covid-19 outbreak has had an impact on the inability of effective and efficient learning and there are obstacles experienced by parents in assisting children's learning, such as children finding it difficult to master the material, online learning this is not effective unlike learning at school, children feel bored studying at home, network limitations so that children cannot follow online learning. The role of parents in online learning is that parents always provide assistance to children in the learning process, establishing communication must begin with openness and good intentions, this can create a warm and comfortable atmosphere. Supervision is built on the basis of communication and openness, encouraging or motivating children, directing the child's will. Keywords: education, online learning, the impact of covid-19

Abstract

The important role of teachers in educational institutions includes the Al-Qur'an Education Institution (TPQ), as well as the demand for teachers to have the capacity and capability in learning the Qur'an. So the researchers took the initiative to solve the problem using the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. The focus of this assistance is the UMMI Method of Al-Qur'an Teacher Training Procedures and how the impact of the UMMI Method of Al-Qur'an teacher training in Pisang village. The results of this assistance are First, the increasing awareness of TPQ teachers about the importance of the teaching methods used in the process of teaching reading and writing the Qur'an. For example, with the application of 4 models of learning Al-Qur'an, the UMMI Method which includes: private/individual, individual classical, classical reading and listening, and classical reading and listening purely, can improve students' skills in reading and writing the Qur'an quickly and easily. dynamic. Second, the growing fighting spirit of the TPQ teachers in teaching their students using the UMMI method. The application and implementation of the UMMI Method in the Al-Quran learning process at assisted TPQs is guided by the program and learning stages that have been set by the UMMI Foundation. Among them; Implementation of the 7 Basic Ummi Method Programs which include: Tashih, Tahsin, Teacher Certification, Coaching, Supervision, Munaqasah, and Khataman.

Abstract

One of the tridharma of higher education is community service, this is one of the social responsibilities of academics. Generally service is manifested in the form of community empowerment. Concrete manifestations of the role of academics in community empowerment include being an idea contributor, a facilitator or community assistant, and an "advocate" for various community interests. The purpose of this research is how the role of academics in community empowerment through mentoring and entrepreneurship training as the foundation of the community to live independently. In principle, academics in everyday life will coexist with society. The results of this study are the introduction of entrepreneurship directly in the field as an effort to strengthen the mental as well as prepare new human resources who are more creative, innovative and progressive in the future.

Abstract

Pendampingan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketrampulan guru jenjang Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dalam pembuatan E-Media di Kabupaten Nganjuk, sebagai sarana penunjang dalam proses pembelajaran, sehingga pembelajaran lebih interkatif dan mampu mencapai tujuan pembelajaran dikeleas lebih optimal lagi. Pendampingan ini mengunakan pendekatan ABCD (Asset Based Community Develompent), pemilihan metode ini meningat komunitas dampingan memiliki aset berupa sarana dan prasarana Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK) yang mumpuni, namun karena keterbatasan keterampilan yang dimiliki oleh guru, akhirnya aset tersebut tidak mampu dimanfaatkan dengan baik. Pelakasanaan pendampingan ini dengan mengadakan pelatihan selama satu hari yang kemudian dilanjutkan pendampingan secara asinkoronus menyesuiakan keperluan dan waktu luang dari guru. Hasilnya dari 25 guru jenjang SMA yang mengikuti pendampingan, mereka mampu membuat e-media sebagai sarana pembelajaran.
