Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi di era digital mengubah proses pembelajaran, menuntut guru menguasai keterampilan baru, termasuk teknologi berbasis AI. Penggunaan e-modul berbasis AI dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, menciptakan pengalaman yang interaktif, efisien, dan personal. Selain penguasaan teknologi, guru juga perlu memiliki keterampilan kewirausahaan (teacherpreneurship) untuk menciptakan solusi inovatif. Pelatihan di MTs Mabdaussholah Pomahan membekali guru dengan keterampilan AI dan teacherpreneurship melalui kolaborasi Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri. Pelatihan pembuatan e-modul berbasis kecerdasan buatan (AI) dan pengembangan teacherpreneurship di MTs Mabdaussholah Pomahan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam menghadapi tantangan era digital. Kegiatan yang berlangsung pada 20 Januari 2025 ini, menghadirkan dosen Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Sunan Giri sebagai narasumber dengan materi mencakup pembuatan e-modul interaktif berbasis AI, penerapan metode pengajaran inovatif, serta pengembangan keterampilan teacherpreneur. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman dan kemampuan peserta, dibuktikan dengan hasil pre-test dan post-test yang rata-ratanya meningkat dari 63 menjadi 70. Analisis menggunakan paired sample t-test menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan (p < 0,05), yang menegaskan efektivitas pelatihan ini. Guru-guru yang terlibat tidak hanya mampu menciptakan materi pembelajaran yang adaptif dan personal berbasis teknologi, tetapi juga mulai mengembangkan potensi kewirausahaan melalui produk pendidikan seperti e-modul. Program ini mendorong transformasi guru menjadi inovator pendidikan yang kreatif dan mandiri, sekaligus memperkuat daya saing dalam era digital. Untuk keberlanjutan program, disarankan agar sekolah menjalin kerja sama dengan lembaga teknologi pendidikan guna memperbarui kompetensi guru, serta memperluas pelatihan ke aspek kewirausahaan sehingga dampak positif program dapat terus berkembang.

Abstract

Junior high school students often struggle to understand mathematical concepts. Observations of classroom learning indicate that many students find it difficult to grasp mathematical ideas when there is no tangible representation of those concepts. One such challenge lies in understanding the surface area of three-dimensional geometric shapes with flat faces. Students’ academic performance is also influenced by their interest in the learning process and the tools used. This study aims to develop a manipulative learning media called the "ABCe Board," designed to assist students in discovering the concept of surface area in solid shapes with flat faces. The development of this media followed the ADDIE model. Data collection and analysis techniques were conducted on a limited scale. The research subjects consisted of 18 students from SMP Ar-Rohmah Putri, focusing on the topic of surface area of solid figures. Validity analysis by experts indicated that the media met the criteria for validity, with an average score of 3.4. Meanwhile, practicality analysis based on student responses showed that the media was considered practical, with an average score of 3.39. The media is recommended for use in mathematics instruction to help students understand the concept of surface area more concretely.

Abstract

Mathematics test preparation by teachers is often conducted manually, resulting in inefficiency and inconsistent question quality. This community service program aimed to empower Mathematics MGMP teachers in Bojonegoro through training on the use of Artificial Intelligence (ChatGPT) and LaTeX in developing Academic Ability Test (AAT) items. The program was implemented through socialization, hands-on practice, dissemination, and evaluation using the Participatory Learning and Action (PLA/PAR) approach. The novelty of this activity lies in integrating ChatGPT, an AI-based question generator, with LaTeX, a professional formatting tool, both embedded within a participatory teacher-training model. The implementation significantly improved teachers’ competence in creating varied, structured, and well-formatted test items while strengthening collaborative work within MGMP. Moreover, teachers demonstrated increased efficiency and confidence in applying AI-based tools for mathematics assessment design. The program proved effective and replicable as a sustainable model for advancing digital competence and innovative assessment practices among mathematics educators.
