Abstract

Character formation and moral development for children are not only obtained from formal institutions, but also non-formal institutions such as RTQ (Rumah Tahfidz Al-Qur'an) which have a role in forming good character. This study aims to determine the Role of RTQ (Rumah Tahfidz Al-Qur'an) Al-Muwaffaq in the Formation of Early Childhood Character in Batukaropa Village, Bulukumba Regency. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques use observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis used is qualitative data analysis with data collection steps, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Proof of data validity using triangulation techniques. The triangulation used is the combination of data sources with other data sources. The results of the study indicate that there are several roles of the Al-Muwaffaq Al-Qur'an Tahfidz House in the Formation of Early Childhood Character in Batukaropa Village, Bulukumba Regency. First, the Al-Muwaffaq Al-Qur'an Tahfidz House as a facilitator. Second, Al-Muwaffaq Al-Quran Tahfidz House as a companion and supervisor. And third, Al-Muwaffaq Al-Quran Tahfidz House as a motivator.

Abstract

The effect of the reading corner program on the reading comprehension ability of grade IV students of MI Salafiah, Cirebon City, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. This study aims to determine the effect of the reading corner program on students' reading comprehension ability. This type of research is quantitative. The population of the study was all grade IV students of MI Salafiah, Cirebon City, totaling 52 students. In determining the sample, a purposive sampling technique was used, totaling 65 students, so that 27 students of grade IV C and 25 students of grade IV B who were diligent readers. Reading comprehension data were collected by tests and observation results. Data were analyzed using validity test analysis, instrument reliability test, descriptive statistics, prerequisite tests; normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test using the t test. The analysis test was carried out with the help of excel and SPSS 27 for windows. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect with a sig. value of 0.001 <0.05. The reading corner program on reading comprehension of Indonesian in grade IV students at MI Salafiah, Cirebon City.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of TPACK-based coaching in improving ICT competencies of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah teachers in Cirebon City. Employing a one-group pretest-posttest design, the research involved 25 MI teachers selected through purposive sampling and conducted in October 2023. The one-month intensive coaching program integrated group workshops (8 hours) and individual mentoring (8 hours) focusing on digital learning media development. Data were collected through the TPACK Survey Instrument (42 items, α = 0.89) and Digital Media Quality Assessment Rubric. Paired-samples t-test analysis revealed significant improvements across all TPACK domains (p < .001), with the largest effect sizes in Technological Knowledge (d = 3.26) and TPACK (d = 3.12). Teachers' TPACK competencies increased from low category (M = 2.48, SD = 0.55) to high category (M = 3.97, SD = 0.39). All participants successfully developed good-quality digital learning media (M = 3.22, SD = 0.48), with diverse media types including interactive video learning (32%), multimedia presentations (24%), and educational games (20%). Findings confirm that TPACK-based coaching model effectively enhances madrasah teachers' ICT competencies and abilities to develop pedagogically sound and contextual digital learning media. This study contributes a theoretical TPACK coaching model for madrasah contexts and practical recommendations for sustainable MI teacher professional development
