Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine how much influence the application of puzzle props by using demonstration methods to student’s learning motivation on learning mathematics in SD / MI. This research is a quantitative research, using One Shot Case Study design. Data collection techniques used were questionnaires and observations. Subjects in this study were all students of grade IV-1 MI An-Nur Cirebon City which amounted to 38 students. The technique of data analysis used in this research is questionnaires test, determination test and Coefisient Regression Test. Based on regression test results, it is found that the significance value of 0.000. So that the significance value is smaller than 0.05 and t arithmetic of 6,608 is greater than t table of 2.03011, then Ho is rejected. This means that the application of puzzle props by using demonstration method on learning mathematics have a significant influence to student's learning motivation in class IV MI An-Nur Cirebon City.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of online learning assessments that can be implemented at elementary education along with its advantages and disadvantages. This studyemployed a qualitative approach with the literature review. The data were analyzed through reviewing the implementation of online learning assessments at elementary education. In addition, the the results of empiricalstudiesregarding the assessments in online learning were also reviewed. The results of this study showed that online learning assessments that can be implementedin elementary education were formative and summative assessments.It includedcognitive assessments, performance assessments, portfolios, writings and journals, self-assessment and peers-assessments. The use of online learningassessments has many advantages such asthe availability to conduct tests on demand and at any time, provides direct feedback to users, the students’quick access to the test results, and a more accurate measurement ofstudent learning. However, online assessment systems also have several drawbacks, such as students who have low information technology (IT) skills might be disadvantaged. For this reason, in implementing online learning and assessment, teachers and studentsshould master information and communication technology skills.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa pada pembelajaran matematika di MI Kota Cirebon, kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa serta upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengatasi kendala-kendala tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif (mix methods). Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik tes, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Sementara itu, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, yaitu menyusun dengan cara mendiskripsikan, menafsirkan data, dan menyajikan data serta menarik kesimpulan dari semua hal yang menjadi fokus dalam penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi pecahan masih tergolong rendah, yakni sebesar 50.07. Sementara itu, rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada materi pecahan juga tergolong sangat rendah, yakni sebesar 26.88. Kendala yang dihadapi guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa diantaranya adalah minat siswa dalam belajar matematika masih rendah, penguasaan konsep dasar matematika siswa rendah, dan dukungan orang tua juga masih rendah. Adapun upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreatif siswa adalah dengan menumbukan minat siswa dalam belajar matematika, melakukan pengayaan terhadap konsep dasar matematika yang belum dipahami serta menggunakan media pembelajaran yang tepat sesuai dengan karakteristik materi yang disampaikan.AbstractThis study aimed to describing of students’ critical and creative thinking abilities in mathematics learning in Islamic Primary Schools Cirebon City, the obstacles faced by teachers in improving students' critical and creative thinking skills and the efforts made by teachers in overcoming these obstacles. This research was quantitative and qualitative research (mix methods). The data collection techniques used were test techniques, interviews, and documentation. While the research data was analyzed by using descriptive analytical techniques, namely compiling by describing, interpreting data, and presenting data and drawing conclusions from all things which became the focus of the research. The results of this study indicated that the average critical thinking ability of students in fraction material is still relatively low, which was equal to 50.07. Meanwhile, the average of students creative thinking ability in the fraction material was also very low, which was equal to 26.88. Constraints faced by the teachers in developing students' critical and creative thinking skills include student interest in learning mathematics was still low, mastery of students' basic mathematical concepts was low, and parents' support was also still low. The efforts made by the teacher in developing students' critical and creative thinking skills were by fostering students' interest in learning mathematics, enriching the basic concepts of mathematics that have not been understood and using learning media that were appropriate to the characteristics of the material presented.

Abstract

                                                   AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematika khususnya pada materi pecahan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil ulangan harian materi pecahan yang masih rendah yakni di bawah Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM). Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada materi pecahan di Kelas IV MI Hidayatus Shibyan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi, tes, dan dokumentasi. Sementara itu data hasil penelitian dianalis menggunakan uji analisis data observasi, uji N-gain, dan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil observasi aktivitas guru pada proses pembelajaran sebesar 83% dengan kategori baik dan hasil obsevasi aktivitas siswa sebesar 60% dengan kategori cukup. Sementara itu kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa mengalami peningkatan sebesar 0,78 dengan kategori tinggi. Dan berdasarkan hasil uji regresi menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansinya sebesar 0,001 lebih kecil dari 0,05 dan t hitung sebesar 4.168 lebih besar dari t tabel yakni 1.734, maka Ho ditolak. Ini berarti bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa pada materi pecahan di kelas IV MI Hidayatus Shibyan.Kata kunci: model pembelajaran inkuiri, pemecahan masalah, matematika                                                       AbstractThis research is based on the low ability of students in solving mathematical problems, especially in fractional material. This can be seen from the results of the daily review of the fractional material which is still low, which is under the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This research aims to determine whether there was an influence of the inquiry learning model on students' mathematical problem-solving ability in fraction material in Class IV MI Hidayatus Shibyan. This research is a quantitative research with an experimental method. Data collection techniques used are observation, test, and documentation techniques. Meanwhile the research data is analyzed using the analysis of observation data, N-gain test, and regression test. The results of this research indicate that based on observations of teacher activities in the learning process by 83% with good categories and the results of student activity observation by 60% with sufficient categories. Meanwhile, students' mathematical problem solving abilities have increased by 0.78 in the high category. And based on the results of the regression test shows that the significance value is 0.001 less than 0.05 and t count is 4.168 greater than t table is 1.734, then Ho is rejected. This means that there is a significant influence between the use of inquiry learning models on students' mathematical problem solving skills in fraction material in class IV MI Hidayatus Shibyan.Keywords: inquiry learning model, problem solving, mathematics

Abstract

AbstrakLahirnya KKNI dan SN DIKTI menuntut sebuah program studi, termasuk di dalamnya program studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) Fakultas Ilmu Tarbiyah dan Keguruan IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon untuk segera meredesain kurikulumnya menjadi kurikulum yang mengacu KKNI dan SN DIKTI. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan respon stakeholders (pihak dosen, kepala MI, dan Kementerian Agama Kota Cirebon) terhadap kurikulum jurusan PGMI yang mengacu KKNI dan SN DIKTI. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan (field research) yang bersifat deskriptif kualitatif. Dimana dalam penelitian ini,  peneliti mencari dan menggunakan data-data yang bersifat deskriptif yaitu berupa kata-kata atau ungkapan, pendapat-pendapat dari subyek  penelitian, baik itu kata-kata secara lisan maupun tulisan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis dimulai dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Analisis data dilakukan sewaktu pengumpulan data dan setelah semua data terkumpul atau setelah selesai penelitian di lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara umum respon stakeholders (dosen jurusan PGMI, Kepala MI Kota Cirebon, dan Kasi Pendidikan Madrasah Kementerian Agama Kota Cirebon) terhadap kurikulum berbasis KKNI jurusan PGMI sudah baik dan sangat layak diimplementasikan di jurusan PGMI. Namun stakeholders memberikan rekomendasi agar ditambahkan satu mata kuliah baru, yaitu psikologi kepribadian dan hubungan sosial serta penambahan bobot sks pada mata kuliah keahlian profesi seperti perencanaan pembelajaran dan praktik pengalaman lapangan.Kata kunci: respon stakeholders, kurikulum berbasis KKNI, PGMIAbstractThe birth of KKNI and SN DIKTI demanded a study program, including the study program of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teachers (PGMI) Faculty of Tarbiyah and Training Teacher IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon to immediately redesign the curriculum into a curriculum referring to KKNI and SN DIKTI. This research is a field research (field research) which is descriptive qualitative. Where in this study, researchers search and use data that is descriptive in the form of words or phrases, opinions of research subjects, both words orally and in writing. Data collection was done by interview and documentation method. Analytical techniques begin with data reduction, data presentation, and draw conclusions. Data analysis is during data collection and after all data collected or after completion of research in the field. The results showed that generally the response of stakeholders (the lecturers of PGMI, the head of MI, and the ministry of religion affairs of Cirebon city) to the curriculum of PGMI department which refers to KKNI is good and very feasible implemented in the PGMI department. However, stakeholders recommend that a new subject be added, that is personality psychology and social relationships and the addition of sks weight to professional proficiency courses such as lesson planning and field experience practice. But stakeholders recommended that a new course have to added, such as the psychology of personality and social relationships and the addition of sks weight on professional skills courses such as lesson planning and field experience practice.Keywords: responses of stakeholder, curriculum based on KKNI, PGMI department

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran matematika yang baik pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar. Prosedur pengembangan yang digunakan meliputi tahap analisis awal, tahap analisis rancangan, tahap realisasi, tahap tes, evaluasi, dan revisi, serta tahap implementasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar validasi Silabus, RPP, Buku Ajar, LKPD, TKPK, angket respons guru dan peserta didik. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata hasil validasi Silabus sebesar 4,16; RPP sebesar 4,31; Buku Ajar sebesar 4,09; LKPD sebesar 4,11; dan TKPK sebesar 3,95; sehingga perangkat pembelajaran hasil pengembangan dinyatakan valid menurut penilaian validator. Sementara itu, hasil analisis respons guru dan peserta didik diperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 85,71%. Ini berarti bahwa respons guru dan peserta didik tergolong positif, sehingga perangkat pembelajaran hasil pengembangan juga memenuhi kriteria praktis.Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Matematika, Quantum Teaching, Pendekatan Realistik, Pemahaman Konsep.  AbstractThis research is aimed at developing devices to produce good mathematics instruction on the Polyhedral material. The procedures used include the development of the early stages of analysis, design analysis phase, the realization phase, stage testing, evaluation, and revision, and implementation phase. The instruments of collecting data in this research are form validation Syllabus, lesson plan, textbook, worksheets, instrument of TKPK and questionnaire responses of teachers and students. Analysis of the data used is descriptive and quantitative analysis, The results of this research shows that the average score of Syllabus validation results 4.16; Lesson Plan is 4.31; Textbook is 4.09; Worksheet is 4.11; TKPK is 3.95; thus the Result of this research is valid in the validator. Meanwhile, The results of the analysis the responsse of teachers and students, obtained an average score of 85.71%, indicating that the responses of teachers and students classified as positive, so that the learning device of development results also meets practical criteria. Keyword: The Learning Of Mathematics, Quantum Teaching, Realistic Approach, The Ability Of Understanding The Concept.

Abstract

AbstractThis study is intend to describe the critical thinking skills of primary school  (MI/SD) teachers candidate and the obstacles they faced in solving mathematical problems. This research is a qualitative research with the research subjects are 36 madrasah ibtidaiyah teacher education students (PGMI), in the fifth semester of IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. The data collection techniques used are tests and interviews. Meanwhile, the research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques related to critical thinking skills indicators. The results showed that the average of critical thinking ability of primary school teacher candidates in solving mathematical problems especially in geometry material was classified as good, which amounted to 73.57. They are able to formulate problems, determine facts, and use correct evidence in solving mathematical problems. However, most of them have not been able to provide follow-up explanations correctly, thus impacting the difficulty in drawing conclusions. Therefore, a lecturer must be able to build a learning environment that is able to develop their critical thinking to become a qualified teacher.Keywords: critical thinking, mathematics, MI/SD teacher candidate. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan berpikir kritis calon guru sekolah dasar (MI/SD) dan kendala yang dihadapi calon guru MI/SD dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan subyek penelitian yaitu 36 mahasiswa pendidikan guru madrasah ibtidaiyah (PGMI) semester V IAIN Syekh Nurjati Cirebon. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah tes dan wawancara. Sementara itu data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif dengan mengacu indikator kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan berpikir kritis calon guru MI/SD dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika materi geometri tergolong baik, yakni sebesar 73.57. Calon guru MI/SD sudah mampu merumuskan masalah, menentukan fakta, dan menggunakan bukti-bukti yang benar dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Namun demikian, sebagian besar calon guru MI/SD belum mampu memberikan penjelasan lanjutan dengan benar, sehingga berdampak pada kesulitan dalam menarik kesimpulan. Oleh karena itu, seorang dosen harus mampu membangun lingkungan belajar yang mampu mengembangkan pemikiran berpikir kritis calon guru MI/SD, agar kemampuan berpikir kritis calon guru MI/SD meningkat dan menjadi guru yang berkualitas.Kata kunci: berpikir kritis, matematika, calon guru MI/SD.

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated by the low self-efficacy of elementary school students with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) that impact on their academic failure. This study aims to describe the behaviorally based intervention approach in improving the self-efficacy of ADHD students in elementary school. This case study involved five students of an elementary school in Cirebon city. The data were gathered via observations, interviews, and documentation and then analyzed using the descriptive qualitative technique.  The results showed that the use of a behavior-based intervention approach could enhance the students' self-efficacy in the aspects of academic achievement, adjustment, social relations, and self-assessment. Therefore, the behavior-based intervention approach can be used as an alternative in increasing the self-efficacy of students with ADHD.Keywords: behaviorally based intervention approach, self-efficacy, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya efikasi diri siswa sekolah dasar dengan Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) yang berdampak pada kegagalan akademik mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa ADHD di sekolah dasar. Studi kasus ini melibatkan 5 siswa sekolah dasar di kota Cirebon. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dan kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa, baik pada aspek prestasi akademik, aspek penyesuaian diri, aspek hubungan sosial, maupun aspek penilaian diri. Untuk itu, pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku dapat menjadi alternatif dalam meningkatkan efikasi diri siswa ADHD.Kata kunci: pendekatan intervensi berbasis perilaku, efikasi diri, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
