Abstract

In the era of digitalization, data utilization has emerged as a key to increasing company competitiveness in the current era of digital transformation, especially in the culinary industry. Recommendation systems are one way of analyzing data. Kedai Kopi Raja Palembang has so far only used transaction data as documentation without further analysis, making it difficult to determine sales products and customer purchasing patterns. This study aims to develop a menu package recommendation system using the Fp-Growth algorithm to analyze transaction data and provide more relevant recommendations. The development method used is the prototype method, with the provisions of the Knowledge Discovery in Database (KDD) stages which include data selection, preprocessing, transformation, application of the Fp-Growth algorithm, and evaluation using the Lift Ratio. The system was developed using Python and allows users to flexibly determine the minimum support and confidence values. The results of the study from the data used in the Raja Coffee Shop transaction history show that the system successfully identified 24 association rules from a minimum support of 1% and a Confidence of 70%. Then, an evaluation was carried out using the Lift Ratio which has a strong relationship between items and the 5 highest rules were taken from the Lift Ratio results for the recommendation menu. The implementation of the Fp-Growth algorithm in a transaction data-based recommendation system can enable business owners to make decisions by utilizing transaction data, to increase the efficiency of menu preparation, and become a model for other culinary businesses in optimizing marketing strategies.

Abstract

The student internship services at the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD) Secretariat of South Sumatra Province are still conducted manually, covering registration, proposal submission, logbook recording, certificate issuance, and assessment. This process often causes delays, risks of document loss, and limited transparency and data accuracy. This study aims to design and develop a web-based Student Internship Service Information System using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, emphasizing speed and direct user involvement at each stage. Data were collected through field observations, informal interviews, document analysis, and literature review, then processed through requirement planning with a fishbone diagram, system design using UML and ERD in the design workshop stage, and implementation with the Laravel framework. The system includes modules for registration and authentication, document uploads, daily logbook recording and printing, an admin dashboard for participant management, and digital certificate and grade generation. Black-box testing was applied to all modules, including registration, authentication, document uploads, logbook recording, participant management, and certificate and grade generation. Tests with various input scenarios verified that each function worked according to specifications. Results show that all modules functioned well, with no errors in core processes, providing accurate feedback and supporting real-time tracking of internship status. This research contributes a comprehensive internship information system model for a regional legislative environment, serving as a reference for digitalizing public services in other local government

Abstract

Higher education institutions are increasingly reliant on academic information systems to manage comprehensive academic processes. However, a preliminary survey of several respondents revealed user complaints regarding the service quality of these systems. Further analysis identified a gap between user expectations and perceptions of the service quality of the implemented academic information systems. This study aims to measure the service quality of SIAKAD (Academic Information System) at Siti Khodijah College of Health Sciences using the E-S-Qual model, which incorporates four dimensions: reliability, responsiveness, fulfillment, and efficiency. A quantitative approach was employed through a survey targeting students and lecturers. Data were collected using a questionnaire adapted from the E-S-QUAL (Electronic Service Quality) indicators to evaluate the academic information system’s service quality. The results show that there is a negative gap in all dimensions, which means that service quality has not fully met user expectations. The Efficiency dimension has the largest gap (-1.19), followed by Fulfillment (-1.13) and System Availability (-1.12), while the  dimension has the smallest gap (-1.08). These findings indicate the need for improvement, especially in the aspects of efficiency and fulfillment of service promises to increase user satisfaction. This study provides recommendations for information system managers to make improvements to the service process and conduct periodic evaluations for continuous improvement in service quality.

Abstract

Administrasi surat menyurat merupakan salah satu aspek penting dalam tata kelola lembaga pemerintahan karena berfungsi sebagai media komunikasi resmi dan sarana dokumentasi kegiatan. Namun, Subbagian Tata Usaha Sekretariat DPRD Provinsi Sumsel hingga kini masih mengelola surat masuk dan keluar secara manual menggunakan buku ekspedisi dan penyimpanan arsip fisik. Cara konvensional ini menimbulkan berbagai kendala, di antaranya lambatnya proses pencarian dokumen, risiko kehilangan atau kerusakan arsip, serta keterbatasan dalam melakukan rekapitulasi data secara cepat dan akurat. Kondisi ini memperlihatkan perlunya solusi digital yang dapat meningkatkan efektivitas, efisiensi, dan transparansi administrasi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sistem informasi pengarsipan surat masuk dan keluar berbasis web yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan Subbagian Tata Usaha Sekretariat DPRD Provinsi Sumsel. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Object-Oriented Analysis and Design dengan pemodelan Unified Modeling Language. Tahapan penelitian meliputi pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan wawancara, analisis kebutuhan sistem, pemetaan alur kerja menggunakan Business Process Model and Notation, perancangan Use Case Diagram, Activity Diagram, dan Class Diagram, serta pembuatan prototipe antarmuka pengguna menggunakan Figma. Sistem yang dirancang menyediakan fitur utama berupa autentikasi login, dashboard informasi, manajemen data surat masuk/keluar, pencarian arsip digital, dan pencetakan laporan, disertai perhatian terhadap aspek non-fungsional seperti keamanan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan fleksibilitas. Hasil penelitian berupa rancangan sistem informasi yang terstruktur dan siap untuk tahap implementasi. Rancangan ini diharapkan dapat mempercepat proses pencatatan dan pencarian arsip, mengurangi risiko kehilangan dokumen, serta mendukung pengelolaan administrasi surat secara transparan dan terintegrasi. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi nyata sebagai solusi awal transformasi digital di lingkungan Sekretariat DPRD Provinsi Sumsel.
