Abstract

The goal of this research was to find out how well chicken manure and biotogrow liquid organic fertilizer worked together to boost the development and yield of Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). The experimental design was a randomized factorial block with 2 variables and 3 replications, where the first component was the number of times chicken manure was applied (A), with 3 values (none, medium, and high). A0 = no treatment (control), A1 = 1.3 kg plot-1, and A2 = 2.6 kg/plot. The second factor was giving biotogrow (B), consisting of 4 levels, namely B0 = no treatment (control), B1 = 1.5 ml L-1 of water, B2 = 3 ml ml L-1 of water, and B3 = 4.5 ml L-1 of water. Observed variables included plant height (cm), the number of tillers per cluster (strands), and tuber weight per plot (g). The study revealed that the application of poultry manure had a significant effect on the parameter of tuber weight per plot, but not on the parameters of plant height or number of tillers per clump. The application of bio-grow had a significant impact on the parameter of tuber weight per plot, but not on the parameters of plant height or number of tillers per hill. The interaction between the two treatments had no significant effect on any of the measured parameters.

Abstract

Peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.) are the second most important legume crop in Indonesia after soybeans. Providing Vermicompost and Petrobiofertil Biological Fertilizer can increase plant growth and production and can also improve the chemical and biological properties of the soil. This research aims to determine the response to the application of vermicompost fertilizer and petrobiofertile biological fertilizer and their interaction on the growth and production of peanuts (Arachis hypogaea L.). The research was carried out on the land of Karang Rejo Pasar I Village/Subdistrict, Stabat District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province with an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level. This research was conducted from April to July 2023. This research used a Factorial Randomized Block Design with 2 factors studied and 3 replications where the first factor was Vermicompost (K) with 3 levels, namely: K0 (Control), K1 (2 Kg/ plot), K2 (4 Kg/plot) and the second factor is Petrobiofertil Biological Fertilizer (H) which consists of 4 levels, namely: H0 (Control), H1 (12 g/plot), H2 (24 g/plot), H3 ( 36 g/plot). The parameters observed were plant height (cm), pod weight per plot (g), pod weight per sample plant (g), weight of 100 dry seeds per plot (g). The results of the research showed that the application of vermicompost fertilizer had a very significant effect on the observed parameters such as plant height, pod weight per plot, pod weight per sample plant. The application of Petrobiofertil Biological Fertilizer had a very significant effect on all observed parameters such as plant height, pod weight per plot, pod weight per sample plant, weight of 100 dry seeds per plot. Meanwhile, the interaction of Vermicompost and Petrobiofertil Biological Fertilizer only had a significant effect on the parameters of plant height and pod weight per plot

Abstract

Sweet corn (Zea mays L. saccharata Sturt) is one type of annual crop whose life cycle is only 80 - 150 days. This study aims to determine the growth and production of sweet corn (Zea mays L. saccharata Sturt) due to the application of cow manure and banana peel liquid organic fertilizer. This research was conducted from March to June 2023. This study used a Factorial Randomized Group Design with 2 factors studied and 3 replications where the first factor was cow manure (K) consisting of 3 levels, namely K0 = 0 tons ha-1 (control), K1 = 15 tons ha-1, K2 = 30 tons ha-1. The second factor is banana peel liquid organic fertilizer (P) which consists of 4 levels, namely P0 = 0% (control), P1 = 10% liter-1 of water, P2 = 20% liter-1 of water, P3 = 30% liter-1 of water. The results showed that the application of cow manure had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height, leaf area, cob length, cob diameter and cob weight per sample and had a significant effect on the cob weight parameter per plot. The application of banana peel liquid organic fertilizer has a significant effect on the cob diameter parameter, but has no significant effect on the parameters of plant height, leaf area, cob length, cob weight per sample and cob weight per plot. While the interaction between cow manure and banana peel liquid organic fertilizer had no significant effect on all parameters observed.
