Abstract

With the development of time in establishing a business, of course there are many challenges that must be faced and anticipated, one of which is competition. Business competition here, companies or business people are required to be more intensive in facing increasingly fierce competition. Business competition faced by entrepreneurs or business people does not only involve on a local basis but also involves business actors. The competition during the Covid 19 pandemic was no exception, which had a tremendous impact, thus hampering various areas of life. One of the sectors most affected is the economic sector. Competition in the business world as a benchmark in creating better and more valuable products, competition is a developmental stage of a cultural phenomenon that inevitably has to be passed, the most important thing is how to respond and prepare for the face because it is not easy to compete with other products, business actors are challenged to be more competitive strategically by increasing their ability to compete in domestic competition and also increasing their ability to compete professionally, with the right strategy that must be applied to ensure success through exploiting existing opportunities, one of them. The tobacco business is a very promising business, even though there are many challenges, but the tobacco business is able to survive the competition even during the Covid 19 pandemic.Of course, by creating innovations, creative ideas and loyalty to consumers are things that must be prioritized in order to be able to compete with actors. other businesses, in order for the survival of a tobacco business to survive and not be eroded by competition, this business actor has much to deal with, of course by creating solutions to overcome the problem of competition in the business itself, because tobacco is one of the most important agricultural commodities. high value.

Abstract

This study aims to design and implement a Village Information System (SID) in Bungko Village, Kotamobagu Selatan District, to improve administrative efficiency and public services. The developed system enables village officials to manage population data, process service requests, and generate financial reports more quickly and organized. Village residents can also access services online, submit requests, and easily monitor the status of their services. The SID implementation uses web-based technology, including PHP, and MySQL, ensuring data security and reliability. The results of this study show that the SID can enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in village governance. However, improving technology infrastructure, user training, and integration with other systems are essential for further development. This study is expected to serve as a model for other villages in implementing technology to advance administration and public services.

Abstract

This research explored the adoption of the HOT-Fit paradigm and its influence on the success of an academic information system application in higher education. Using the PLS-SEM multivariate data analysis approach, the HOT-Fit model was evaluated in order to investigate the foundations of theory from a prediction standpoint. This was done to find out more about the model's potential applications. The HOT-Fit method takes various elements into account when performing a system analysis. Humans, organizations and technology are integrated elements and must be considered for the continued existence of an operating entity. This study uses hypothesis testing on a total of ten hypotheses to show the relationship between Academic Information System variables. The results show that six of the investigated hypotheses have a significant effect, while the other four are discarded because they are not relevant. 7.344 is the variable value of customer satisfaction. Program Features and Benefits The use of a variable with a value of 0.426 contributes little to the overall clarity of the situation. Based on the results of demo data processing, 121 participants (76.58%) reported good results, 13 (8.13%) rated this system as good, and 24 (15.19%) rated it as bad, resulting in a disparity between user expectations and the situation.

Abstract

Anthurium ornamental plants are known for their high aesthetic and economic value, requiring optimal care, particularly in terms of watering, temperature, and soil moisture. However, in practice, the watering process is still mostly done manually and often fails to meet the actual needs of the plants, potentially causing damage or even plant death. Flower Shop "Cemara Indah" in Semarang, a business specializing in ornamental plants, faces similar challenges, especially in the care of Anthurium plants. Therefore, this study aims to design and implement an automatic plant care system based on Arduino Leonardo, utilizing a soil moisture sensor and a DHT11 sensor to monitor temperature and humidity. The system reads soil and environmental conditions and regulates watering according to the appropriate moisture and temperature levels required by the plants. Sensor readings are displayed on an LCD and can be accessed via a local network using an Ethernet Shield. The results of this system design are expected to improve efficiency in terms of time, labor, and cost in plant care, while sustainably maintaining the quality and health of Anthurium plants. This system also offers an innovative solution for ornamental plant enthusiasts to care for their plants in a more modern and controlled manner.

Abstract

Bencana maritim, seperti tragedi Titanic (1912), tetap menjadi fokus penelitian analitik prediktif tentang kelangsungan hidup penumpang. Studi ini menggunakan model pembelajaran mesin (ML) untuk menilai probabilitas kelangsungan hidup menggunakan Gaussian Naïve Bayes (GaussianNB), Decision Tree, dan k-Nearest Neighbors (KNN) pada kumpulan data yang terdiri dari 891 sampel pelatihan dan 418 sampel uji. Untuk meningkatkan akurasi model, Grey Wolf Optimization (GWO) diterapkan untuk penyetelan parameter, yang menghasilkan peningkatan signifikan: GaussianNB meningkat dari 79,02% menjadi 81,14% (+2,69%), Decision Tree meningkat dari 77,22% menjadi 80,59% (+3,37%), dan KNN naik dari 71,27% menjadi 79,58% (+8,31%). Temuan ini mengonfirmasi efektivitas optimasi berbasis metaheuristik dalam meningkatkan akurasi prediktif untuk klasifikasi kelangsungan hidup. Penelitian ini menunjukkan potensi GWO dalam mengoptimalkan model ML untuk aplikasi keselamatan maritim, menawarkan pendekatan yang lebih andal untuk penilaian risiko dan prediksi kelangsungan hidup dalam analisis transportasi dan bencana.
