Abstract

Development. Planning Board of Jambi City. This study aims to determine how the work motivation of the Regional Development Planning Agency of Jambi City in terms of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation. The research methodology used in this research is a descriptive analysis using data collection method through questionnaire, documentation, literature study. Respondents in this research are employees of the Regional Development Planning Board of Jambi City. The results of this study indicate that the overall motivation of employees of the Development Planning Agency of Jambi City has been running quite well. The situation is indicated by the percentage of motivation factors that get the response from the employees. From this research, it can be concluded that the employees of the Regional Development Planning Agency of Jambi City are motivated to perform the tasks, although there are several obstacles. Based on this research, it can be mentioned several suggestions to the Development Planning Board of Jambi City to maintain and improve the motivation of their existing employees, enhance the system of Corporate Administration Policy and Supervision to the employees so that they can understand and perform their duties well.

Abstract

This study aimed to look at the motivation of achievement in management students based on gender and length of study (force). This research is quantitative research by taking respondents from the 2014-2016 foster management study program. The number of samples used in the study was calculated using the Slovin formula to obtain a sample of 123 students. The data in questionnaires were analyzed using different tests, Kruskal Wallis and Mann Whitney. The results showed a difference between the motivation of student achievement judging by gender and length of study where gender will affect the motivation of accomplishment in students of the Management Study Program of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Jambi. At the same time, the old factor of study does not influence student achievement motivation

Abstract

This study entitled "The Influence of Leadership Style and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at the Jambi Provincial Education Office." The objectives of this study are as follows: (1) To see an illustration of the effect of performance, leadership style and work discipline at the Jambi Provincial Education Office. (2) To find out how much influence the leadership style has on employee performance at the Jambi Provincial Education Office. (3) To find out how much influence work discipline has on employee performance at the Jambi Provincial Education Office. (4) To find out how much influence the leadership style and work discipline have on employee performance at the Jambi Provincial Education Office. Based on the results of the research that (1) the overall picture of the total score of leadership styles which is included in the high category. the overall total score obtained has gone to the work discipline characteristic category which is included in the high category. the overall total score obtained has led to the employee performance category, including in the high category. (2) Based on the partial test results, leadership style has a significant effect on employee performance(3) Based on the partial test results, work discipline variables have a significant effect on employee performance. (4) The variables of leadership style and work discipline together have a significant effect on employee performance.
