Abstract

ABSTRAK This study examines the implementation of the "Learning with Nature" (Belajar Bersama Alam/BBA) method at SD Alam Lampung as a holistic educational approach that instills ecological-based leadership values. By integrating thematic learning, environmental exploration, and Islamic spiritual values, BBA shapes students' character as stewards (khalifah) of the Earth who are responsible for environmental sustainability. This concept is manifested through practical activities such as gardening, waste management, and outdoor learning, supported by the design of an environmentally friendly (green) school. The role of teachers as facilitators and the involvement of parents further strengthen the sustainable educational ecosystem. Interviews reveal that the BBA method is effective in fostering early leadership development in children with a strong ecological awareness, in line with the goals of character education and sustainability. Keywords: Learning with Nature, ecological leadership, SD Alam Lampung, character education, green school.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to explore the concept of patience (sabr) in facing life's challenges from the perspective of the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. The focus of this study is to analyze the various forms of problems faced by individuals and the solutions of patience recommended in the hadith. The methodology employed is qualitative research with a library research approach, which includes textual analysis of hadith from primary sources such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, as well as related literature. The findings indicate that patience is not merely a passive attitude, but rather a manifestation of faith and inner strength. The Prophet SAW teaches that patience in the face of calamities, emotional pressures, and social conflicts is key to achieving tranquility and drawing closer to Allah. This finding emphasizes the relevance of the values of patience in the context of modern life, particularly in overcoming stress, strengthening social relationships, and supporting spiritual resilience. The implications of this research highlight the importance of internalizing the value of patience in the education and daily lives of Muslims. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive approach that connects the hadith on patience with contemporary challenges, while also providing practical guidance for individuals in facing life's trials.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively analyze the condition of national and regional leadership in Indonesia through a SWOT approach to map the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats that influence the effectiveness of policy formulation and implementation. Using a descriptive qualitative method and document analysis, this study draws on various secondary sources, including national and international policy reports, scholarly articles, academic books, and governance data such as the World Governance Indicators and the Corruption Perceptions Index. The analysis was carried out through data reduction, categorization, synthesis, and source triangulation to ensure information validity. The findings reveal that Indonesian leadership possesses several internal strengths, such as democratic legitimacy through direct elections, a wide and potentially powerful bureaucratic structure, progress in government digitalization, and strong social capital. However, structural weaknesses remain dominant, including political fragmentation, overlapping bureaucratic authorities, disparities in regional capacity, limited use of data in policymaking, and a tendency toward personalized leadership. Externally, Indonesia faces significant opportunities such as the demographic bonus, digital transformation acceleration, increased civil society participation, and international cooperation. Nonetheless, leadership also confronts threats such as global economic uncertainty, geopolitical tensions in the Indo-Pacific, political polarization and digital disinformation, widening social inequality, and the risks of natural disasters and environmental crises. The implications of this study emphasize the need for more adaptive, data-driven, and long-term-oriented leadership strategies through strengthened bureaucratic meritocracy, political consolidation, integrated digital governance, and strategic diplomacy in responding to global pressures. The novelty of this research lies in integrating leadership analysis with the SWOT framework into a systematic evaluative model, along with the use of contemporary empirical cases in the post-bureaucratic reform and digital governance era as the basis for strategic mapping. This approach provides a deeper understanding of the strategic position of Indonesian leadership amid increasingly complex global socio-political dynamics and offers relevant policy recommendations for strengthening governance in the future.
