Abstract

Banking credit practices using the Decree of Appointment as collateral have become a systemic phenomenon among State Civil Servants in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze how the SK-based credit mechanism operates as an instrument of banking hegemony that normalizes debt in the lives of ASN and reviews this phenomenon through an Islamic economic perspective. Using a qualitative method with a literature study approach and critical analysis, this research dissects the power relations between banking institutions and ASN using Antonio Gramsci's theory of hegemony. The research findings indicate that banks, particularly Regional Development Banks, exercise hegemony through "voluntary consent" built on narratives of financial ease and consumptive lifestyles. The ASN SK is no longer just an administrative staffing document but has transformed into an economic commodity that shackle productivity and financial independence. From an Islamic economic perspective, this practice is criticized for containing ribawi elements, encouraging israf (excessive) behavior, and contradicting the principles of Maqashid Shariah, specifically in the aspect of hifzh al-mal (protection of wealth). The novelty of this research lies in the synthesis between Gramscian socio-political critique and Islamic economic axiology in dissecting ASN debt dependence. The implications of the study suggest the need for policy reform in financial literacy and the strengthening of sharia financing models that are more equitable for ASN.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the phenomenon of Muslim women's fashion in the perspective of Islamic law and Michel Foucault's theory of governmentality. The focus of the study is directed at how Muslim women's clothing, especially the hijab, not only functions as an expression of personal religiosity, but also becomes an object of moral regulation, social discipline, and the formation of religious identity in public spaces. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of literature research combined with socio-legal perspectives and critical social theory. Data were obtained from Islamic legal literature, maqāṣid al-syarī'ah, governmentality theory, and academic studies on hijab regulation, sharia formalization, and religious freedom. The results of the study show that Muslim women's clothing in Islamic law has a normative dimension as part of dress ethics, modesty, and honor guarding. However, in social practice, such norms can shift into control mechanisms when institutionalized through policies, institutional pressures, or enforced standards of piety. The governmentality perspective explains that the regulation of Muslim women's clothing works through the normalization, supervision, and formation of pious female subjects who obey certain moral standards. This study concludes that the regulation of Muslim women's clothing needs to be placed within the framework of maqāṣid al-shari'ah so that it does not stop at symbolic control, but remains oriented towards justice, welfare, religious freedom, and respect for women's dignity.

Abstract

The urgency of this research lies in the need to reconstruct a more humanist, fun, and liberating learning model of the Qur'an Hadith, in accordance with the needs of the times and the character of digital learners. This study aims to analyses the learning model of Al-Qur'an Hadith at MTsN 1 Palangka Raya by using Paulo Freire's Critical Mazhab approach, as well as identifying opportunities and challenges in implementing dialogical learning and building critical awareness (conscientização). The method used is qualitative research with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, in-depth interviews and documentation, while data analysis used descriptive-critical techniques based on Freire's theory. The results show that although some teachers have realized the importance of a dialogical approach and started using digital technology, the learning model is still dominated by the banking education pattern. Students are still positioned as passive recipients, with little room for discussion and reflection on the meaning of Qur'anic teachings in the context of real life. The main obstacles include limited time, lack of teacher training, and strong old pedagogical habits. The implication of this research is the need for pedagogical transformation through critical education-based teacher training, contextual curriculum development, and creative integration of digital technology as a dialogical medium. Thus, Al-Qur'an Hadith education is not only a means of mastering the text, but also an empowerment tool to form critical, active, and contributive learners in the digital era.
