Abstract

This study aims to describe the factors that cause early marriage in Pondok Kelapa District, Bengkul Tengah Regency. This research uses a quantitative descriptive method. The population in this study amounted to ± 200 respondents, the research sample was 36 respondents who were determined using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique in this study used a guttman scale questionnaire and interviews as support. The results in the study of respondents who conducted early marriages that occurred in Pondok Kelapa District, Central Bengkulu Regency, from the six factors studied, there were four factors that caused early marriage, namely; economic factors, educational factors, parenting factors, and reproductive health knowledge. And there are two factors that do not cause early marriage, namely; mass media factors and cultural factors. Keywords: early marriage, causal factors, descriptive study

Abstract

This study sought to define the nature of the relationship between student worry and academic procrastination. The sample for this research was 243 students of SMP Negeri 17 Bengkulu City, totaling 867 people using the Basic Random Selection technique. This research uses a quantitative descriptive research design with correlational techniques. The instruments used in this research were the academic procrastination questionnaire and the anxiety questionnaire. Product moment correlation is used to analyze the data. The research results show that there is a significant positive relationship between academic procrastination and anxiety, with a correlation coefficient of 0.419 at a significance level of 0.000 (p<0.05). This shows a positive correlation between academic procrastination and anxiety: the greater the anxiety, the higher the procrastination. Keywords: anxiety, academic procrastination, student

Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of knowing how the effect of individual counseling with the gestalt approach of empty chair technique on increasing the assertive behavior of students who are victims of bullying. This study used qualitative research methods with the subjects AM and KH. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. Providing individual counseling with a gestalt approach to empty chair techniques as a form of increasing the assertive behavior of students who are victims of bullying. The results showed that the assertive behavior of the subject could increase. Such as being able to be open and honest with yourself and others, being able to defend your rights, being able to express your disagreement with something, being able to deal with bullies. From the results of this study, it is suggested to counseling teachers to improve the assertive behavior of students who are victims of bullying using individual counseling services with an empty chair gestalt approach. Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of group counseling services utilizing expressive writing techniques on the stress academic performance of introverted students. An experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design is used in this study. The research population of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 22 Bengkulu City was 57 students. Then the sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique, totaling 9 students. Data were collected using inventories and Likert scale questionnaires. The research results show a value of t = 6.236 (p<0.05), which means that there is an influence of group counseling services with expressive writing techniques in reducing the academic stress of introverted students. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research aims to describe the influence of information services with social interaction problem solving techniques to improve students' self-adjustment. This research method uses an experimental method with a one group pretest posttest design. The population in this study totaling 148 students. The research sample was taken using a random intact group sampling with a sample size of 28 students. The data collection technique used a self-adjustment questionnaire with a Likert scale. The research data analysis technique uses a t-test (paired sample test show an increase in students' self-adjustment after being given this treatment in the form of information services with techniques problem solving with a value of t = -14.333 with a significance level (2-tailed) of 0.000. This means that there is an influence of information services with social interaction problem solving to improve self-adjustment. Abstract

This research aims to test the effectiveness of group counseling services using a solution focused brief counseling (SFBC) approach in increasing students' altruistic behavior. The research method used is quasi-experimental type pre-test post-test control group design. The population in this study was 72 students in classes XI.2 and XI.3. The sample for this research consisted of 10 people who were divided into two groups, namely the experimental group and the control group using purposive sampling techniques. The data collection technique used was an altruistic behavior questionnaire using a Likert scale model. The research data analysis technique uses the t-test (paired sample test). The pre-test and post-test results of the experimental group experienced an increase in the level of altruistic behavior before and after being provided with group counseling services using the solution focused brief counseling (SFBC) approach. This can be seen from the hypothesis results produced in the experimental group which were greater with a t-test value of -32.255 and a significant value of 0.000 < 0.05, while the control group had a t-test value of -3.437 and a significant value of 0.026 < 0.05. This means that there is an influence of group counseling services with a solution focused brief counseling (SFBC) approach which is effective in increasing students' altruistic behavior. This research suggests that guidance and counseling teachers use group counseling services with a solution focused brief counseling (SFBC) approach to increase students' altruistic behavior.
