Abstract

This community service aims to actualize the values ​​of the Qur'an through the Musabaqoh Tilawatil Qur'an (MTQ) activity to form a young generation with insight and quality. This community service uses descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The subjects of community service are 85 participants. Data collection techniques in this community service are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses triangulation. From the community service, it can be concluded that the increase in the actualization of the Qur'an through the MTQ activity in Sosokan Village, Ulu Rawas District, Muratara Regency went well during the activity. With three main activities that have been well organized, namely preparation activities, implementation activities, and evaluation activities. The implementation method used is increasing community knowledge by holding MTQ activities by combining lectures, training, and competitions to increase love and understanding of the Qur'an. The inhibiting factors are the lack of follow-up coaching programs after the MTQ is completed, the limited number of competent coaches, and the lack of supporting facilities. The supporting factors are the support of religious and community leaders, motivation and enthusiasm of participants in participating in MTQ activities, and routine coaching. Recommendations for further researchers are to provide broader insight into how MTQ is not only a competition event, but also a medium to build Islamic awareness and strengthen the values ​​of the Qur'an in everyday life.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of student discipline in implementing regulations at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sarolangun. The purpose of this study is to describe the efforts made by teachers in disciplining students at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sarolangun. The number of informants was 29 people, namely the principal, six teachers, ten students and five parents of students. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are non-participant observation, in-depth interviews and document studies. Then the unit of analysis is the group. The data analysis technique used is interactive data analysis (Miles and Huberman). Namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are; (First) Teachers Provide Good Role Models for Students. (Second) The tolerance shown by teachers to students who arrive late, (Third) Teachers provide valuable advice to noisy students, (Fourth) Teachers are polite in their speech, such as telling stories about the prophets and apostles (Fifth) Teachers teach social attitudes, such as loving, respecting, and appreciating each other, (Sixth) Teachers provide rewards and punishments to students, and (Seventh) There is good cooperation between teachers and parents of students, such as parents asking teachers about their children's behavior at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 2 Sarolangun.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui kesulitan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas 2 SDN Dari 2 Plupuh, (2) mengetahui hambatan belajar membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas 2 SDN Dari 2 Plupuh, (3) untuk mengetahui solusi yang diberikan guru terhadap kesulitan membaca permulaan yang dialami siswa kelas 2 SDN Dari 2 Plupuh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Informan pada penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah SDN Dari 2 Plupuh, guru kelas 2 SDN Dari 2 Plupuh dan siswa kelas 2 SDN Dari 2 Plupuh dengan jumlah 8 anak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah ditemukan kesulitan membaca permulaan yang dialami siswa kelas 2 SDN Dari 2 Plupuh antara lain, (1) belum bisa mengeja kata, (2) belum bisa membaca susuna kata, (3) belum bisa membaca huruf diftong dan kluster, (4) sering mengulang kata, (5) kesalahan parafrase dan (6) belum mengetahui makna kata. Sedangkan hambatan yang dialami sehingga membuat siswa mengalami kesulitan membaca yaitu, (1) kurangnya peran orang tua saat mendampingi siswa belajar membaca, (2) minat membaca siswa masih rendah, (3) tingkat kecerdasan siswa yang berbeda-beda. Solusi yang diberikan oleh guru untuk mengatasi hal tersebut adalah, (1) memberikan perhatian yang lebih terhadap siswa  yang mengalami kesulitan dalam membaca permulaan, (2) menambah jam baca siswa, (3) membaca bersama.
